She hasn't forgotten her country roots. I didn't like country before, but Brandi has changed my appreciation of some of it.

The original was played very straight and sad, and always had me crying. Brandi's camping up of it brings the irony to the fore, it's still beautiful, and I am smiling.

This is actually a cover to a song sung by Country legend, Jim Reeves who died in a tragic plane accident in the sixties. The song is actually entitled: "He'll Have to Go."

Thanks for the correction. When I Googled "Put Your Sweet Lips" to find out the title, all the lyrics sites called it just that, so they also appear to be incorrect.
