cuz i moded my gun accordingly.. it added about 10 meters onto my range but it keeps pushing the darts out the front of the barrel when i cock it. i think its the lip on the modified barrel on the nozzel end it grabs the bullet and drags it forward. should i just sand it or what?

Thanks guys for a great video, my son and I, sat down and modded it while watchin the vid! The springs are most difficult part to make sure they are all sitting well. One question though......Is it supposed to sound quite loud and more a BANG than the THUD that his maverick makes? Souands lot louder than before, but maybe its because I tweeked the hell out of the spring. Power is probably 70% increase btw LOL.

Ok this mod is ok. BUT THE ORANGE PART THAT STICKS OUT. Idk what it's called lets just call it the pressure chamber basically, the tip end eventually just popped out cause of the all of pressure try to insert some sort of felt or foam into it so it won't break. -Sadly I wasn't warned and how to buy a new gun.

The tutorial is very comprehensive and helpful. What it fails to mention is that the plunger tube moves forward so fast without the air restrictor that the back of the plunger tube will after time, break off. That disc is the small orange disc mentioned in other clips. There are a couple of videos on here of how to temporarily fix the plunger. I removed the air restrictor and lengthened the spring. Possibly leaving the spring alone may allow the plunger to survive. Mattymantooths idea looks good

Also take off the mag safety clip so you can take out the mag when loaded, this allows one extra round in the breech as well as 6 in the mag. I'm guessing that at lot of people trying this are young...I'm 26 and I had a bit of trouble so if it doesn't go back together properly get someone older to help you

This video would have to be the best one out there, although one thing i could recommend is cutting a piece of an old dart into a disc and glue it to the inside of the plunger. This will stop the plunger breaking if you stretch the spring too far and it has too much power.

For those who have no power tools (like me) don't bother removing the bolt sled. Just take a screwdriver and hammer, and hammer the AR out. I have to admit a drill would be easier though.

@AnNILEator12 the bit the he calls the "spring clip" has a small spring on the top of it, make sure that spring is in place, if it's not, the gun will act as if it's firing

@z2rayray2z When your drilling through an air restriction your actually destroying and removing it, so u need to drill it to remove the air restriction because its locked into the Tube. Drilling it can remove it from the Tube itself which removes the Air restriction
