  • Jizzus! Musical goodness!

  • lol at most of the comments here. Kavinsky has created some amazing 80's style retro electro masterpieces, which are so great that it doesnt really matter how good of a DJ he is.

  • Shock horror, DJs don't exclusively play their own material!

The only guy I can think of that DOES play only his own stuff is deadmau5.

And let's not even go there...

  • @Nopewasalreadytaken deadmau5 doesnt call himself a dj. And its well known he hates dj's, which is probably why he doesnt play other peoples work.

  • @Agraviadore exactly my point, he's an asshole through and through.

  • @Agraviadore Most artists are assholes. You dont get famous by being nice.

  • wowwwwwwwwwwwwwww mega

  • plays the mstrkrft remix... fucks with eq... fist pumps... fucks with eq some more

  • @Electrickbreadstick

    thats like every dj ever

  • @TheDustyWilk what about effects like flange and pass throughs? then theres actual mixing rather than dropping in at the end of a 4 bar

  • @Electrickbreadstick I hope you don't actually think that mainstream dj mixing requires any kind of talent.

  • @Electrickbreadstick I'd like to see this as a top comment, but not enough people will get it

  • Straight rip of the Justice remix, only minor differences..lame :/

  • I have been trying to find a name for my love for so long!

Trying to find something that merged my classic electronic tastes with modern style.

And then I happened across this, found out its called Electroclash and my life is complete.

  • why is nobody dancing their tits off

  • @eldictator1 Because everyone is high strung. I would be so pissed if I played music like this and no one is moving. I would be going fucking wild if I was in the crowd.

  • my head would have exploded from awesomness if i was there. Dayum!

  • espectacular

  • i would like to become a dj, and smoke on the job. i probably wouldnt look half as cool as kavinsky tho :/

  • yep , you're right Kavinsky is COOL ... and he is a badass !

  • Actually this is just the MSTRKRFT remix of "Dance". Throughout the song he uses the effects on the MIXER and the CDJS he is using to create the sounds you hear in the middle and towards the end.

  • kavinskys dirty as hell lol im not sayin hes not

  • !!!JUSTICE!!!

  • Justice - D.A.N.C.E. (MSTRKRFT Remix)

  • kavinsky ♥

  • i think if youre gonna remix a song live you probably arent gonna use two cdjs and a djm...probably some allent heath shit and ableton lol. you want a live remixes listen to deadmau5 or something of that nature

  • Kandinsky's sick,

    Hater.

  • zoom out that fucking camera.

  • u just need CSI COMPUTER

i watching this HI DEF with zoom 300x

  • Um guys. He's playing Mstrkrfts remix on D.A.N.C.E. With his mix of the sound on top of it

  • WTF?

  • remix and ripoff are not synonymous with each other

  • How this is a ripoff? you've basically called every remix a ripoff :S

  • its a bootleg, which is dif than a remix, which is dif than a ripoff, bootleg is when u play someone elses song live and put your spin on it, this is kavinsky bootlegging MSTRKFRT's remix of Justice's D.A.N.C.E. confusing, but bear with me.

  • And it's a bootleg recording too. A bootleg with in a bootleg. Infina-bootleg.

  • idiot

  • Aahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh .... Rummmmmm Zapppellllllllnnn

  • MSTRKRFT

  • oof listen to that bass!

  • this is the mstrkrft remix.

search it up on itunes, the is no kavinsky mix.

this one is only available on the 'd.a.n.c.e remixes' by justice and it is remixed by mstrkrft.

  • your right mate, this is the mstrkrft remix

  • total.

  • He doesnt know to spin. I ve never have seen him mix two tracks on beat, he alwas abuse of effects and loop cutting, by the way he has good tracks .

  • he's not the best dj but he's a pretty good producer

  • It's only the beginning=)

  • killer bass

  • dude this is actually the best use of fx i have seen any dj drop this.

and ive seen justice/mstrkrft/other ed banger djs play this before.

  • he only knows to use fx. Fx are not hard to play, the difficult is to mix two tracks , not just on beat I mean on tune for example, the harmony mixed with a good tracklist. take a look to the justice essential mix and you will know what im talking about :) sorry 4 my english

  • i agree, justice = epic live, but if you want to see some some proper live dj'ing, go see 2ManyDJ's (Soulwax).

  • Haha, Fx? Go and see Daft Punk at their more recent Alive set, then you know what FX is. :)

  • I saw daft punk twice (once in L.A and the other i flew to tokyo)

but they use ableton...so there are way more possibilities

  • Daft punk have a lot of money; you can't compare ;)

  • not really. homework was made on a very very very minimalistic setup, they actually try and minimalise alot. if you google for alive 2007 setup, they used ableton, 2xbehringer midi controllers, 4 midimoogs, and rack effects.

  • Hmm... I see. Okay, sorry :)

  • its cool dude, i may be wrong, but daft punk have yes, an expensive set up, no doubt about it. but when bring it down a peg, you realise its minimalistic :P it just wont seem it!

we are all used to , guitars drums bass vocals. its hard to tell whats going on, but what do you hear in daft punks music.

drums, bass, guitars, synths, vocals. it is very easy to emulate the sounds they have, albeit not as good, with a cheap setup :) learn your electronics and go for you life :D

  • daft punk uses lemur's jazzmutant midi controllers and they're about 3 grand.

  • they only used that for one performance, they change there set around alot.

  • four mini moogs isn't exactly cheap

  • wait he didn't even remix it. he just played the remix.

  • like a lot of dj's, they don't remix in live

  • wtf this is the mstrfrft remix. why would he do try to remix a remix.

  • MSTRKRFT remix.

  • so what?

  • o thanks man

    :]

  • cause its a dj set , hes free to play what he wants where as a live set he has to do his own music.

  • And dude, in there "live" set, justice is using samples from the Klaxons ... ;) so dont blame him for playing there track !

  • Justice also plays samples MSTRKRFT and bootlegs Metallica in their sets.
