I like this song I lived near Sridevi's house. Sridevi.s Aunt requested me to cure acondition for Sridevi's mother which i effectively cure for her Aunt. I went three or four timesand I could not meet either Sridevi or her mother! Then I came to Sydney. They took her to USA. I saw this movie when I was a medical student! Kamala hasan and Rajani Kanth also live closeby! I have afascination for Sridevi since I was a young boy and her action is extremely goodand so to say exceptionally good!

i have a doubt. Why does Rajini as Vidyasagar kill his servant maid when she tries to escape. They are neither married nor does he have the rights to kill two people. I just dont get the story of this film. Poor film with a poor story. Apart from Sridevi's role which inspired Rangeela's Jackie Shroff's role in Rangeela showing a mysterious sad celebrity, this movie has a poor storyline overall.

i have a doubt. Why does Rajini as Vidyasagar kill his servant maid when she tries to escape. They are neither married nor does he have the rights to kill two people. I just dont get the story of this film. Poor film with a poor story. Apart from Sridevi's role which inspired Rangeela's Jackie Shroff's role in Rangeela showing a mysterious sad celebrity, this movie has a poor storyline overall.

But this was sung by S.Janaki...... The ones sung by Jency Antony in Johhny were "Ene Vaanile Ore Vennila" & "Oru Iniya Manadhu" ...........

I agree that raja and janaki was the best combination during 80's.
but janaki has to be grateful thru out her life for two artists. ie 1)chidambaram jayaram who introduced her( when she was rejected) and to raja for turning an off coloured singer to the national award winning champion.
