hogan was scared kayfabe and in real life. he said this himself . i thought he was gonna get killed especially after that stupid legend that david von eric got sqaushed to death by a yokozua in japan lol
LMFAO... at 5.26, there's a "moment" I'd love to know what was scripted and whether or not Heenan's chair fumble happened correctly, but Hogan very very nearly loses it. You know that laugh that only ever struck when you were in class and you absolutely knew you could not let it happen? Hogan so nearly goes, it would've been priceless lol.
@oldschool6804 Please. If you have nothing to offer that is even somewhat intelligent, then it's probably best to say nothing at all. I will, this once, go against my better judgement, and "explain" something to you. WrestleMania III was about to be The WWF's "No.1 album" that would break the global market. A 93,000 seater venue. They went for broke! THIS "press conference" was part of that strategy of hype! If you ACTUALLY think this was just done off the cuff, then you sir, are a fucking Ioiot
@oldschool6804 Listen you imbicile, "scripted" does not mean literally word for word as in a drama or sitcom, it means THEY FUCKING KNEW WHAT WOULD HAPPEN. Why am i even trying to explain this? I dare say i could write every sensible world you've ever spoken onto a tic tac with a sharpie. "Real tension between Hogan and Andre" Are you a labotomy patient? Tension over what?? I'd love to hear this, I really would. Hogan get a nicer poached egg at the buffet? These are performers... PERFORMING!!!!
@walka112 you're the imbecile wrestling isn't as fake as you think there is tension, the tension would be andre didn't wan't to lose to hogan it happens alot you're the moron if you think there is no friction between any of the wrestlers!
@oldschool6804 Where did I say fake? For the record, I know considerably more than you appear willing to give me credit for. Yes, there WAS friction betweeen many wrestlers. In fact friction is a polite way to put it. However, at Wrestlemania 3, "there-was-no-friction" between Bollea and Andre. Whatever Martel said is myth fuel. Even by '87 Bollea was disliked by much of the WWF talent, albeit mainly jealousy Andre's only agenda at wrstlemania III was to cement Hogan's legend! He did a fine job.
@oldschool6804 I'm not gonna name drop, it's just not a classy thing to do. But I do know someone who spent a long time working for the WWF, I believe in Connecticut, though spent most of the time touring. He wasn't a wrestler, but worked very closely with many of them over the years. I've been hearing private laundry since I was a child lol. And believe me, gossip about Andre was rare. Drank heavily, but next to Hogan's antics, he was a saint. Oh, the irony of Hulk Hogan. If people only knew...
WHAT ARE U TALKING ABOUT ANDRE WAS GLAD AS HELL TO LOOSE TO HOGAN . ANDRE WAS THE BIGGEST WRESTLER iN THE WORLD THEN . he passed the torch. hogan didnt think the match will work . hogan didt want to do the match not andre.
and what gene said in this was truehogan looked up to andre . andre made hogan and hogan was grateful for it .there was no beef or anamosity andre was sick
Andre, could I prevail upon you sir, to say a few words?
It's obvious the man doesn't care to speak to you today.
Now you wanna go maybe slap him around a bit and see if you can get something.
