his hand movements are the key in most of his tricks.

when he pushes his hand toward the camera really fast and makes the cigarette appear outta nowhere, it's in his hand the whole time.

rushing his hand toward the camera actually dialates the viewers pupils momentarily, so they are actually kinda blind to his slight hand movements.

next time he does it, move away from the screen the same time he pushes his hand toward the camera. you can see it then.
