you cannot just lube them without cleaining them first. that just get the dirt and dust further in. they must be first cleaned with acetone, or rubbing alcohol or WD-40 does work to clean everything out, but leaves a residue which must then be rinsed with alcohol. thhheeennn go with the speed cream or what i use is synthetic motor oil. 3 dollars for an entire liter and is designed to work at the high temperatures of a car engine that bearings can get up to at speed.

umm. it is ok if you use wd.40. some say that it gets clogged again. all you have to do is spray your bearings with wd 40. put them in your wheel and back onto your board. Then spin the wheel like crazy. take off the wheel and bearings and any extra gunk inside the bearins should be on your wheel. Simply take a towel or something and wipe the crud out.
