Teaching is extremely stressful and your preparation courses do not impress upon you the incredible liability you will have as a teacher. Here we see a teacher who has reached his limit, however this was building. This did not happen in one day. I take the side of the teacher because in the highschool in the area where I go to school a kid through a desk at the teacher so instead of getting on to him the teacher picked up the desk and through it back......then gave the student a detention

I've worked as a substitute teacher and while the teacher definitely should not have lost his temper, there is an epidemic these days of disrespect coming from students towards teachers. It's true that it's a teacher's job to manage the classroom but I feel like we've completely removed any responsibility from the student to behave in class and appreciate the education they are getting.

The Spanish teacher at my high school snapped like this one day. He was always really reserved. Didn't even do anything to break up a fight in his class one day. My English teacher had to stop it for him. But one day, he just snapped and threw a podium at a student.
The students are partially to blame for triggering the episode, but the teacher should have known he was about to break and left the classroom to cool down.

The problem with teaching is they are too busy babysitting. This takes time away from teaching. I don't know why high school students need babysitting, but I guess they do.

A few years ago, I may have taken the side of the students...but something about "growing up" makes me really sympathize with the teacher. I'd get pissed too. I don't know if I'd have a nervous breakdown, but I would definitely be upset especially if some punk was filming the whole thing from his phone. But still, he should have just handed out a crap-load of detentions, and then walked out for a few minutes to let himself and everyone else calm down.

is on the normal side and doesnt have poroblem but slowly as time flows he turn angry and angry and then unable to control himself he gets angry and when he does its natural the outcome is undesired and not favored but it is also the anger which is irritating to be described by some or plains stupid. well i think student are the idiotic here so well im with the teacher.

Well as mostly every one can see it is students fault but not completely perhaps 10% can go to the teacher as anger is such a thing where the mind loses its control your BP flows higher then normalization start feeling different things at such point you should realize that now i cant take it and then just go drink water or sumthing and calm down and come back to class. Now there are 2 types of people 1 who has problem and other who is calm and very controlled now both of them exist in your brain

I once had a teacher that threw chairs across the room (he didn't throw them anywhere near the students) whenever they were acting stupid...or didn't practice their band instrument at home...I'm so glad I practiced and acted like a sane person XD!

The Spanish teacher at my high school snapped like this one day. He was always really reserved. Didn't even do anything to break up a fight in his class one day. My English teacher had to stop it for him. But one day, he just snapped and threw a podium at a student.
The students are partially to blame for triggering the episode, but the teacher should have known he was about to break and left the classroom to cool down.

The problem with teaching is they are too busy babysitting. This takes time away from teaching. I don't know why high school students need babysitting, but I guess they do.

I side with students! Without those type of Students in a class room everything is boring! I know if i didnt have the class clown type Guy in my class i would never smile in class! They help to keep us awake! If it werent for them students would snap at the teachers because they would be angry and tired without atleast one person in class that can make them laugh!

A few years ago, I may have taken the side of the students...but something about "growing up" makes me really sympathize with the teacher. I'd get pissed too. I don't know if I'd have a nervous breakdown, but I would definitely be upset especially if some punk was filming the whole thing from his phone. But still, he should have just handed out a crap-load of detentions, and then walked out for a few minutes to let himself and everyone else calm down.
