Super Smash Bros Brawl COMPREHENSIVE Moveset - Ice Climbers

I'm slightly new to ice climbers. I don't get chain-grabbing but I can still use combos involving barrages of multi-combos, such as Nana grabs a weapon while i hold the enemy and she can just go to town bashing them. so far it works well and keeps enemies pinned long enough for a smash forward. anyone have tips to improve besides chain-grabbing?

In SSBM if you changed the color the girl ice climber would be the main one but with its original color its the boy ice climber who is the main.

But i dont think it works that way in SSBB because i changed the color but still the boy ice climber is still the main ice climber

i mostly use characters that are fast at attacking and have a good k.o. move to finish the job when the % is high eough

I love the IC, they're my main. At first, they look like they're weak but if you know how to use them...use two golden hammers for example. XD And they're now even much better. One of the most improved characters (next to g&w). Nana can squall hammer by herself, both can grab on to one edge and belay is the only up b who is a normal AND a tether recovery. And also I love it how they look at their victim when they make a forward smash, it kinda looks just like from the original Ice Climber game.

ya that does happen. but if ur on a small map like final destination u can always just press b a couple times and then they get stuck on the bottom of the mountain frozen to death. but on big maps its pretty much useless.

The strangest thing I find is how they can use two different items at once. I grabbed a Smash Bat as Popo (the purple one) while Nana grabbed a Green Shell. It opens up so many options when it comes to offensive items!

you control the blue one (the pink one always follows him) if the pink one falls down it dousnt count as a ko but its harder to fight.

Simple explanation, especially after playing over 500 matches with ICs already since release, it's basically Nana and Popo hitting at different times, giving it the multiple hit look, and yes, the damage ratio had to be modified, no move in Brawl, Melee, or the original will ever hit for 53% damage, especially uncharged. O.o

I assure you, in almost 99 out of 100 cases, if you don't wavedash, you won't win.

I wouldn't base your abilities in Melee on something computer-controlled. Play a real person, who's actually good at the game, and get better. And using tactics will always be better than running into a fight, just "smashing the crap outta stuff."

I never said wavedashing is going to win it every time. But if you can use tactics, such as SHFFLing and teching in conjunction with other things, it's obvious you'll get better against other players. And the people you play against suck. Find someone good to play with. If you get Brawl, send me your ID and I'll play you.

Brawl's mechanics are different than Melee's, it's obviously too soon to say anything like that... IMO considering how all other characters are as of now in terms of combo/chain grabs/etc, the Ice climbers seem pretty good if you can use them right.
