First time my hubbie and I listened to this, my hubby commented that he wasn't sure he liked this repetitive song. As it happens, the more we listened to it, the more we got into the groove and it became a song that wouldn't get outta my head. In a good way. It's simple. Beautiful. Haunting. And really just human, not particulary "hawaiian" which helps to make it more relatable to others. John, please please please make more albums, brah. I cannot wait for your next one. Seriously.
