Each of the the ribs is actually made from a cnced mold using bondo glass. There is also a carbon fiber strip used to support the joints and a chain to prevent sagging. It is very strong, in fact one of the ribs hung a little low and wore away an eighth inch of the aluminum base. If interested I'd be happy to post some pictures. I'm going to try to find time to take some readings before the summer is finished.
At this point I don't have any of the electronics hooked up. The video was in about 45-50 mph gusts, but in low wind conditions it doesn't really turn well. It's been up for about a week with low wind and high wind, so I haven't been able to find the lowest speed to make it turn.
I first plan on keeping it up for a few weeks to make sure no structural problems before I invest the time to connect it up. I'll post back then.

WORLD RECORD: BIGGEST WIND TURBINE
Visit: windturbinecarriedbywheels.weebly.com
ZERO-NOISE from the gears and the generators because they are sealed underground (Only the outer parts of the turbines may be heard.).
SAVES THE BIRDS AND BATS because the turbines are slow-moving since the speed is in the transmission gears and in the generators.
DOES NOT NEED TO OCCUPY WIDE LANDSCAPE because the turbine can be very tall.
HELPS THE WIND ENERGY COMPANIES because it is FREE FOR ALL.
