  • Saw this live in '77 at Jeppeson Stadium in Houston, in the rain. Best song at the best concert ever. I still get chills.

  • Unreal...this is probably one of my most favorite Pink Floyd tunes...Did I say unreal?

  • Para mi este fue el punto mas alto del concierto de waters el 2007. Este sábado lo veré nuevamente. Saludos compatriota y gracias por subir esta masterpiece.

  • I was actually at this concert. Probably one of the best I have ever seen!!!

  • I wanna travel in time, i wanna see pink floyd Live!!!

  • Awesome find! Thanks! BAAAAAH!!!

  • 9 sheeple are alien zombies. No pleasure, no feeling, just existing mindlessly.

  • OMG!

    8 pigs just said "unlike"

  • why does the description says from viña del mar?

pink floyd never came to chile

  • Animal Farm!

  • If time travel is ever invented im going back to see pink floyd LIVE.

  • very nice, animals maybe their best!

  • which dvd is it ? i'd like to buy it !!! seems very good

  • @dore666

hardly to find this on any dvd release, 'cos it hasn't been released :) I think these few footages on youtube are the only ones from In the flesh tour '77 that were made at all!

  • @imiocic alright thanks dude, i'll look for another one ! any idea of which i could buy ?

  • @dore666

well there's only few official PF dvd releases - Live at Pompeii, The Wall live and Pulse (wich is also a masterpiece although it's without Roger). try to also find Roger Waters DVD-In the flesh from 2001, you won't regret it believe me. cheers!

  • i'm speechless

    thanks for posting

  • I enjoyed these shows more than the original wall show. Still have the ticket stubs from 1977 stuck to my Animals album with all the press clippings ... sheer brilliance. No gig before or atfer had such an impact.. including the stones, yes, zappa (twice) .... well maybe Skynrd then ...

  • @hafstrat Would it be too much to ask for pictures of that?

That is utterly awesome! I envy you! lol

  • Killer song. Everyone is on their game. Gilmour is amazing.

  • F***ing brilliant. The guitars do sound awesome.

  • Rick Wright forever. RIP

  • @An0n3mu55

    Wright was so under-appreciated!!

  • Pink Floyd Live in Oakland 1977 3-disc 2CD/DVD set and Pink Floyd The Wall Live at Earl's Court 1980 DVD available at Tommygun Video please see our Youtube channel for link to web site/video and audio clips/more info

  • incredible an a timeless tune

  • Saw this tour in the States when I was 17. Absolutely incredible. Never before, never again.

  • @everybitofthunder i was there too bro, i was 16, saw it at the garden on 7/2/77, it blew my young fuckin mind!!!, me n my 18 yr old brother drove in from long island, smoked some real acapulco gold, had a few beer and proceded to go to another world!!! i had just seen zeppelin at the garden a month before on 6/7/77 doing the song remains the same, holy shit, i was lucky!!!! todays kids have no idea what tha music was like when we were kids, i wish i could go back!!! ROCK ON!!!!

  • @jroxx11211 Ah, yeah! I saw Pink Floyd in Portland in May 1977 and Led Zeppelin in Seattle in July 1977. Two top concerts that year, although I saw The Who in March that year and they were great too, in a different way. I'm getting so old that I can't remember who else I saw that year, but I was a definite concert rat....

  • @everybitofthunder fuckin great, wasnt it? boy, we grew up in the best time for music, it seemed like every other week there was another band coming out with a great album, followed by a killer concert. thank god for youtube, now we can click in a band and go back n see when we saw the show, what the set list was, and who played with them, i saw so many shows in the 70s, ive forgotten alot of them, but i sure remember floyd, zeppelin, the who, sabbath, early van halen, plus a whole lot i forgot!

  • @jroxx11211 Being from LI, your post made me think of what my buddy and I would have also done for this show. God damn your lucky man.

  • @ClassicColtCabana we didnt know back then how lucky we were, i guess we took it for granted that there'd always be concerts like that all the time, zeppelin one month, pink floyd the next, holy shit, it was great! especially living on long island, the city was an hour away, so many bands, so many shows! plus nassau colliseum too, i saw alot of great shows there too, van halen, black sabbath, metallica, those were the days! ROCK ON BRO!!!

  • Awsome footage man, very good! Where did u get this?

  • gilmour ql musculoso, pa que tan rico el csm :/

  • I saw Pink Floyd perform this song in Cardiff in 1973. The band came on at eight o'clock. Three hours later I looked at my watch and it was ten past eight. Come back ELP, all is forgiven.

  • Клевый концерт, жаль я никак не мог на него попасть, родился позже

  • 6 people are pretending the threat isn't real

  • @RushSatrianiPetrucci they probably cant feel the certain unease in the air.

  • @RushSatrianiPetrucci and only dimly aware of a certain unease in the air

  • @RushSatrianiPetrucci

    Sad...up to 7 now my friend...but I just clicked 420 likes!!!

  • @RushSatrianiPetrucci

    its 'danger' not 'threat'

"What do you get for pretending the danger's not real?"

  • @GabrielsNob No need to split hairs. Besides, they improved "threat" in many of their performances on this tour.

  • gilmore and wright always improvised live - BADLY!

It annoys me, considering the prowess of the material they recorded.

Saying that though, at least it IS all live - unlike the tracks used by those aussie floyd pirates... dirty cheatin' robbin' aussie scum.

  • @OrbvsTomarvm are you fucked , gilmour is an improv genius , ive never seen a bad improv , when you can pull off 20 plus minute songs live than talk shit

  • This video is crap. Yes, the audio might be live Floyd but it doesn't match the visuals at all.

  • @jsimon ´close your ´eyez´?

  • @jsimon it's from '77...what exactly were you expecting?

  • This is so great!!!! pafemo you get a Tim and Eric GREAT JOB!!

  • @jayMaze5 hahaha SPAGHETT!!!! Great Job!

  • @low72 A stoner show being mentioned on a video of a stoner's fantasy (being at this concert). Fitting to say the least. MARIJUANA FOR LIFE!

  • this just made my easter!!!!!!!!!!

  • my sister bought me Animals in 1981 , i really didnt listen to it much, i was all about the wall, and then the final cut was relased and that was brilliant, it wasnt until years after that i started listening to animals, i feel like i have found an old treasure.

  • Nick Mason, Grossly underrated drummer, my favorite of his era

  • 4 people dont like sheep, how come?

  • @7Ronan1967 because there to young and dont know the best if it strikes them in the head and thats what happens when the world of music goes live as with this tune we're not perfect but floyd is

  • @7Ronan1967 wingers?

  • nice phaser on the bass.

  • I have never seen a Pink Floyd concert in my life. Feels bad, man

  • @edslides1 Maybe I just want to buy official release? huh? In great quality, non bootleg.

  • voll erinnerungen super

  • shitty record

  • @comingbackful

Your Russian whore mother eats shitty underwear.

  • What LOCATION was this?

  • Which location was this from? Obviously 1977 In The Flesh tour but where?

  • The years '73 - '77 where Floyd's climax : Dark Side, Wish you .. and Animals are three absolute masterpieces of the 70's. My personal favorite is " Animals "

  • Horrible video all spliced together. This vid is from Dogs, not Sheep...... you can tell because David is playing his telecaster...........nice try though...

  • @MrMvp43 looks like black strat to me

  • @wispa1a You are correct. That IS "the black strat". Gilmour has used that guitar since the days before DSOTM and still uses it today. It has been ultra modified over the years (mostly by Gilmour himself). If you google David Gilmour's black strat, it has some really cool info about it :)

  • @technocrash09 Yer man i know the history lol..

  • @wispa1a

    :)

  • david, nick and rick are great musicians but the truth is that Roger Waters has a brilliant mind

  • Saw them on this tour in Houston. Best concert of my life and I've seen hundreds.. so far.

  • de valpo :) gigante floyd!

  • This is the Pinacle of the Rock Era!

  • Now. Who's this remind you of ? !!!!

  • thumbed up adam12088 AND aberdown... both true, I suppose...

  • Fricking awesome my favourite Pink Floyd.

Roger is such a selfish prick.

As Radiohead would say you do it to yourself that's why it hurts.

Can,t believe it took him nearly 30 years to say how much he loved these guys.

No wonder Gilmour doesn,t want to do this full time.

  • @aberdown Roger did everything lyrically, and he was very emotionally spent. I don't blame him, he hated performing and he managed to write FULL lyrics for 4 of the best albums of the 70's.

  • Pink Floyd discography:

    Full discography from hotfile(dot)com:

    hotfile(dot)com/list/998266/b8d7e5d

  • such an inspiring tune... i was 12 when i first started listening to pink floyd. last year.

  • love pink floyd but gotta point out the fuck up when the first lyrics are supposed to come in

  • being very close to cleveland here, and the rock hall of fame that we very much love.....pink floyd has taken the top floor in display. le'ts culture ourselves in this

one of a kind german band.

  • killer..

  • MORAISITO AMETISTA the best

  • Where is this?!

  • Too bad they don't release a video of The Animals Tour.

  • jajaja buen video viejo !

el audio es del bootleg "animal instincts" no es así ?

me lo se de memoria, cada nota, cada error y cada sonido y grito jajaja !

saludos y ojalá llegue roger waters y su the wall por sudamerica !!!!

  • a live dvd of this tour ,would fuckin'sell millions ..it rocked !

  • a live dvd of this tour ,would fuckin'sell millions ..it rocked !

  • Cuando??? como????? que putas.....en serio PF fue a vinia del mar???????????????? Que alguien me lo confirme por favorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

  • orale este video si que jamás lo habia visto, excelente hermano

  • pink floyd is like the way back machine on the old bullwinkle show. remember sherman and peabody?

or maybe what i mean to say is, i wish i had the way back machine so i could go back to 77 nd see this show live, while filming a cartoon about it.

  • Fuckin' awsome!

  • :| pink floyd in viña del mar, i suposed that pf would never go to america

  • @tadeofa Let me at least, to have a dream...

  • @tadeofa What are you talking about? I've seen them 2 times in California once in this same year in Anaheim & once in LA Coliseum in 1989, hmmm, maybe you weren't born yet, wow...

  • @HeadNtheClouds i suposed that pf would never go to south america, i know that it went to usa because they played the wall there

  • @tadeofa I was at this concert in Oakland,California! You must be very young. ;o)

  • @WillysKitty im 14 years old

  • una versione strabiliante!! il rock senza di loro è come la musica classica senza mozart!

    Grandiosi!!!!

  • Esto es en Oakland Coliseo - This is from Oakland Coliseo

  • Saw this tour at the Miami Baseball Stadium, late fall, where high winds tore the inflatable pig all to pieces and blew it away. And the pig wasn't alone.........the show blew us away. First half was "Animals", and the second half was DSOTM. Good time to be alive. Peace:-)

  • You Lucky Motherfucker! I have bootlegs, but to see in in person must've been amazing!

  • @obiwannut Oh, yeah, good times !!! My buddy and I took a battery-powered cassette recorder in and actually recorded the show--hand-held in the audience---and the clarity of the tape was amazing !!! Don't know if I have the tape or he does---it probably still works. I'm going to look and transfer t CD if i have it and can find it. The sound quality was unbelieveably good. I wonder............

  • BLEATING AND BABBLING WE FELL ON HIS NECK WITH A SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAM YEAHH!!

  • Release this stuff - someone must be worried people will enjoy it.

  • Saw the Australian Pink Floyd Tour last night at the MEN. Wow, wasn't prepared for how good they were, simply awesome!

  • @bladeboy2041 Yeah, saw them at the SECC in Glasgow a couple of weeks back and they were awesome. Gutted I'll probably have to wait at least another year to see them again. As close to perfection as you're going to get.

  • Dood... that "Lord's Prayer" quote at the end was mine from 25+ years ago...

You must gave gotten it ... or someone did from my garageband tune...

    Wowee

Absolutely amazing to see it exactly as written so many years ago!

  • I had a little too much to drink last night!

  • Ahhh the era when music was music, emphasis was on talent, not image. I miss the past I do.

  • genial..!!!

  • I saw this show at Soldier Field in Chicago in 1977, nothing better than acid, tie stick and Floyd

  • "Master the art of karate"! LOL Waters truly is crazy. Ha, ha, great!

  • Snowy was on bass for Sheep, Pigs ( 3DO) and later WTTM. He was second guitar for the rest of the show. Dick Parry also supplied second keyboard parts on this tour ( out of view).

  • Waters's voice is so punk-rock here; still can't understand why the punks never accepted PF, given their similar messages of angst and alienation...

  • Because any 4 bars of any Pink Floyd song contain more musicality than entire punk-rock.

  • @dragmio so true...

  • @dragmio SOOOOO TRUE!!!!!!!!!

  • @dragmio

punk rock was what it was. and there was some monumental stuff there.

dont knock punk. listen to all the killer shit on youtube.

  • @dragmio lol theyre two different genres you cant compare the two

  • I guess it's because PF were rich people.

  • No, not really, just talent and inspiration. When pink floyd began playing, waters spent his last and only money from the unemployement service to buy a rickenbacker bass. Around 1966 Gilmour was travelling France and Spain busking and ended in a hospital with malnutrition symptoms. Don't believe that's a rich-man's life :P

  • than you to share it!!!!

  • i love that e piano intro, it is one of wrights best solos,

it has so much atmosphere and suspense

  • I like it, too. Strangely, Wright never much warmed to this album -- or Gilmour, for that matter. For me, it is absolutely desert island-essential PF!

  • Amazing.

  • Outstanding. Thank you for posting this.

  • Whoever is playing what, it sounds fantastic.

  • wtf are you people talking about? Waters IS playing bass! do y'all even know what a bass looks like?

    #@!

  • @SpammerOvTheGods On this song, in concert, Waters was not playing bass. Snowy White would cover the bass guitar part on this song.

  • yeah im pretty sure waters is playing bass in this video unless thats not him singing

  • Yes, in the footage that's on here, he's playing a bass. but if you watch close enough, you'll notice this footage does not match much of the audio. It's a badly edited collection of clips, sometimes they're not even wearing the same clothes, and it's very obvious to anyone who knows how a guitar is played that what you're seeing is not what you're hearing.

  • what? ur 48 and write holy shit in a youtube comment :D (no offense)

lucky u could have been there, im 17 and its one of my dreams to hear pink floyd live... my dad promised if they give one more concert we'll go to it- no matter where

  • @AloamaBalu ahaha hence his name "cornholio" - Beavis and Butthead

  • holy shit i saw this tour in77 my mate neil was the mixing eng.i was 14 now 48!!

  • Pink Floyd - the all-time best band in the world! Their music is unbelievable!

  • I was listening to this in me car today .. only to discover some fuckers scratched it Grrrrrr!!

  • saludos desde quilpue tambien que diazpepe =) viva viña!! y este excelente video tambien.

  • ja ja dejé la cagá en la web. Somos secos los de la V Región (mensaje solo para locales).

  • Yep, and dogs was going to be called "You've Gotta Be Crazy". The mixing with his voice and the synth/guitars on the album version is ridiculous!

  • Ridiculously good.

  • nice....

  • excelente ,saludos desde quilpue

  • Saw this show in Houston..Jeppison Stadium 77 or 78. Animals tour. They also played wish you were here and part of dark side before it started raining. Anybody have film from that one?

  • They should release some live album from this tour...

  • Yes indeed!!

  • @pafemo They must:)

  • @pafemo better not :-)

  • @Vladymir1916 I agree completely!!!

  • @Vladymir1916 hell yeah

  • this is actually touring WYWH - Roger was writing all that shit before hand - he was tired of playing 'old" stuff and said, 'let's play this" I have bootlegs from the 76 tour and Sheep was called "Raving & Dreaming" at the time.

  • @obiwannut True, but it was actually called "Raving and Drooling"

  • its actually bleeting and babbling we fell on his neck with a scream

  • raving and drooling i fell on his neck with a screeeeeaaaaammmm!

  • Journey was an incredibly talented band that just wrote VERY lame music. Check out Steve Smith's jazz stuff. OMFG WHAT A DRUMMER! I do like the FLOYD's music much Much MUCH more, however.

  • Well...this is close. i grew up with them and Ian Anderson as well as Robert Plant! Lets all try to get along.

  • Great song and band, quality of the sound and picture is fucked.

  • Amazing.
