  • I just read part of the NWT of the Scriptures and compared it to the KJV and the Greek Interlinear Bible.. and I found startling inconsistency in the NWT. Basically If you believe the NWT of John 1, then you have to believe that Jesus is "a god" as opposed to God.

  • Actually, the Britannica is wrong in what it says about the shemah. That IS a statement of Trinity. OT has different rhetorical styles it uses, chiefly the sacred He repeated thrice in a paragraph, to show Father, Son, Spirit -- which it begins stating, from Genesis 1:1 (Son) forward (Spirit in Gen 1:2, Father in 1:26 speaking for the Godhead, etc).

Hebrew echad means UNIQUE, FIRST, way more often than it means one in number. Christ isn't praying to himself in John 17. :)

  • That book should be called Twisting of the Scriptures...Good video! Thanks for sending it to me :)

  • Frère, il faut absolument traduire en french! C'est énorme!

  • Le problème est que l'encyclopédie est en englais. Mais je vais essayer, laisse-moi jusqu'à la fin de semaine.

  • THANK YOU MrKattt!!! Thank you TNE Britannica...

That's a perfect illustration! No comment.

  • Add some "little dots" or some brackets, and you can make something say whatever you want it to say.

But you do all realize that the watchtower tells JWs that it is ok to lie as a "theocratic war strategy."
