if you hit a mine the game creates an additional visual challenge, like making the the notes that come up occasionally jump to the side or make the notes spin. generally something you DONT want to happen.

Practice. This isn't actually that hard when done on keyboard, especially with the huge timing windows on Mungyo 3. For rhythm action games played with fingers, you need to be looking at games like DJMAX or IIDX for any real test, four button play doesn't really cut it. But yeah, you may think you're not great now, but if you keep at it, you'll be passing songs like this in no time =)

yeh it takes major practice, like ive played stepmania for the keyboard for like 3 years now... play flash flash revolution, it helps
