Soo glad I missed this! It looks like the saddest collection of chavs and twats ever to assemble, and as much fun as cancer! What kind of sad wanker goes out to get pissed on a train! The technical term is an alchoholic!
I am a solicitor for someone who was arrested on the Liverpool St concourse during the above incident. I would be very grateful if anyone who witnessed any arrests could call me. Many thanks, Noam Almaz, TV Edwards solicitors
what really gets me is how negative and snooty people are getting about this seemingly mild, light hearted evening (admittedly with a tiny minority of real pillocks) when i know that my parents generation was easily as wild and 'antisocial' if not more, and we are talking way before most of us on here were born. but hey, thats the good old days, right??? have you NEVER had fun doing something that may have upset a few other people? if you can honestly say no, you really need to lighten up...
whats all this sad bullshit about lack of rebellion? who says it has to be rebellion? this is just a typical british 'turn anything into a party ' attitude, and perfect excuse! wish i was there. and as for this laughing stock business. ive partied in a lot of cities in the world and the only time i heard a negative thing about british partying is from our own press getting over excited about very little. to the likes of 'wearethebrits' and 'verderer', you sound very sad and old!!! oh dear....
Dear Sarahknight07 - when you have learned to write a decent standard of English, with proper spelling and correct grammar, then I will take some notice of what you have to say. Were...sorry, I mean was.... you drunk when you posted that? Ha!
Great rather then address the persons legitimate points about the yobbish behaviour that took place, focus on a couple of grammatical and spelling errors. Pedantic.
I guess you have no defense or excuse to justify how selfish and horrible the people who took part were.
Don't anyone ever, ever acuse us young Brits of being cold and reserved! We Brits are the best, wildest party goers in the whole of the world. When we enjoy ourselves we do it in style! Yay!
thats why dear vererer we are the biggest laffing stock in the world with your simpleton comments-there is a time and a place to enjoy yourselfs you was hardly protesting or rebellious,it was the eve of the ban not the day-i spose no one had the guts to drink the next day on the tube but give it all the big one wen drunk-such a wild party -i think not
do you believe much of that behaviour wont carry on with drunks boarding the train from a night out. maybe all major sports events should be banned too, and music, and why not any venue where a few thousand gather to drink and party? lets make london a better place (sounds fun). i bet the revellers outnumbered those delayed more than on a regular night on the tube so maybe its they who are selfish in the minority... get over it.....
No there will still be AS behaviour on the tube, even with the ban. But it will reduce it and make journeys more pleasent for normal people, because (shock), alcohol often makes you act like cocks.
Yes people are going to be drunk after sport events etc and use the tube, thats something that we can't avoid. You can't at all compare that to this as this farce was completely unnecssary and not needed.
"Revellers outnumber normal people", yes because that isn't a complete lie is it, you halfwit.
firstly thats not what i said ("Revellers outnumber normal people")... i was referring to this night only, read it again, halfwit. secondly, this was a 1 off night, the tube is NEVER like this. thirdly, having used the tube regularly right accross london for the last few years, i have rarely seen drinkers on the train and being any more a niusence compared to those who come from events in massive groups already pissed up. not needed? much of what humans do is not needed, its just a laugh.
For anyone who doesn't live in London or who didn't get to hear the detail on this story - It was a protest against a new drinking ban now in force on the London underground, brought in as a result of passenger feedback about the drunk and disorderly on trains late at night.
The people you see in this video decided to protest against the ban by going on the trains late at night and getting drunk, assaulting train staff and police and generally trashing the underground system.
Bunch of effing morons if you ask me. Oooh - how rebellious, you took a can of pop on the Tube and shouted quite a lot. That showed Boris. He's bound to change his mind. If only Che Guevara was still alive - he'd be wearing t-shirts with you on. Anyone who was there and found it hilarious - teewats one and all.
you didnt see shit when bare people started fucking up the traisn rippin up the signs pulling it appart spiting at coppers n fucking up the train staff
'fucking up the train staff' yeh ur a fucking badman arent u harassing people who don't anything to fuckin do with u and just wanna do their job. prick.
it wasnt even rebellion,HOW CUD IT BE THE BAN DIDNT COME IN EFFECT TILL THE SUNDAY this was the saturday.they was cowards,it was a rent a mob cheap night out at our expense
These people didn't stick anything to anyone, other than the train drivers who were assaulted. The events went ahead with the full approval of the authorities, who made no effort whatsoever to check the disorder. This is just the type of thing the government has been striving to bring about: huge swathes of the population utterly dependent on and enslaved by alcohol. Had these people tried to gather on the underground to protest against the EU constitution, riot police would have been deployed.
as any1 thought about how DANGEROUS dis was by having this party! I was Travelling from Victoria with my young family, dis silly circleline gathering frightened my young children. MOST IMPORTANTLY it could have given terrorist the fine opportunity 2 strike, then u all wouldnt b laughing ol. It was very, very frightening. 1 last thing de filth from some people 2 urinate on de platforms, because there was no toilets on de trains. Its discusting when young kids ave 2 witness dis kind of behavour.

I hope these morons spare a thought for the thousands of people who were delayed and inconvenienced due to this.
-Six London Underground stations
-50 Staff assaulted
-Four tube drivers and two police officers were among those assaulted, and there were 17 arrests.
-One woman worker was hit by a bottle, a male staff member was punched in the face had beer poured over his head
What a load of selfish and horrible people.
Bloody morons
