@frogsaunders1 you must have really reached a huge plateu in your playing or something. I wish I had 22 years under my belt, I would probably be victor wooten by then. Im 16, been playing for like 3 years (i have some really crappy old videos on my channel from along time ago) but I'm really pretty damn good now. bottom line, you should be as good, if not shitting on this kid, after 22 years. Thats a huge amount of time.

@Theshamham The rate at which you improve in any instrument is usually a lot less than when you first start. Even if you play well, you will meet a lot of challenges trying to break the mould. However, this boy has somehow managed to wrap up about 20+ years of guitar experience in less than half the time. Guess the only way thats possible is if he came out of the womb with a 5 string.

People start to get good, then they just play shit at their skill level for the rest of their lives and never improve, no matter how good you get, your gonna find something that will give you trouble at first when you start to learn it, then once you have mastered it you will find that you play better then you thought you could.

@mazman19 If I practiced bass for 5 years and then got pretty good and then only played songs as hard as my skill level for 20 years, even after 20 years of playing I would still play as well as I did after only the first 5. However, if you spend 20 years actually practicing (by that I mean learning to play stuff you can't) then there is no limit to how good you will get. This kid is good for the soul reason that he challenged himself and he probably continues to challenge himself today
