  • Where is the sine wave? lol

  • @thecj29 there is no sin wave in ITF sparring, only in patterns

  • very dynamic and precise, nice!

  • I want to see more of that blond girl. She looks hot!

  • at 1:56 another setup is when they kick and you deflect it you punch with the opposite hand, and return a front turning kick with the leg on the same side. This is a natural flow because the body is already leaning into the punch giving the leg perfect forward momentum to kick.

  • Funny thing is I dont see a sine wave.

  • in order for them to extend it properly they would have to practice their timing

  • Thats a good technique but I dont think yall are executing it properly. You have extend that back (or spinning side kick is what it really is) and add the power.

  • @Kinghercules the point of the kick isnt to take the opponent out, its to score a point as fast as possible with enough force to let them know thay've been hit. so you dont really need the full power of the kick.

  • @stu310189

So instead of improving upon the technique yall decided to go down hill?

    Sloppy.

  • @Kinghercules If your telling me that when fighting you use full techniques, im telling you thats a good way to loose. the kick's fast enough and powerfull enough to work and by the looks of it, the people that are there are natinal team members and have probably been to world championships etc. i think thay know what thay are doing.

  • @stu310189

"the point of the kick isnt to take the opponent out..."

    Are you serious?

Then why did the invent kicking?

    Ok if you say so.

  • @Kinghercules the point of ITF competition is to display control of your technique at all times. by all means, hit the opponent as hard and fast as you can, but don't lose control of your technique.

Another thing - it's not that these people aren't extending their legs, what's happening is that some of those kicks are reaching the target before full extension, so the force of the kick is being delivered with a fairly bent leg. It happens in every martial art and is just a matter of distance.

  • @Kinghercules lad,you must be brain dead, itf isnt a full contact sparring system, taking the opponent out results in disqualification unless he walked onto it.

  • @Kinghercules theyre trying to extend it but hitting before extension which is what occurs with every tech,if you landed with already extended there would be no pwer at all.

  • goood

  • indeed

  • nice training!

  • Really nice.
