The graphics card in your iMac ain't strong enough to display World of Warcaft with it's default configuration. Go to your applications folder, World of Warcraft, WTF and open Config.wtf using text editor. Now lower your settings manually (set the resolution to either 640x480 or 800x600). This should do the trick. If it doesn't work, I can send you a copy of my Config.wtf.

Put a bigger hard drive in it, add ram to 512mb, and overclock your video card using a program called aticcelerator 2, and it will run wow much better.

haha my imac g3 400mhz i just picked up and put 512mb of ram i had laying around in it. i might do something like this too :D personally i wouldnt go buy a mac because i like PC games and the customization of power and lower price and such. but for anything else besides games... MAC owns PC end of story.

my 800mhz 258mb ibook G3 runs wow pretty good at like 10-15 fps (major cites 4-9) but low resolution tho i cant get the Bgs to run it just disconnects

Yes it is, you can't play on it in a normal fashion.

Reason I filmed this is because I myself were quite impressed by the performance of the machine in general, not WoW as the software it is.

I don't know why people want these machines so badly. They really don't go that fast and are quite old. save up and get a new mac or look at garage sales. My macs were found for free, where they were being thrown away, it's a shame, cause some of them were only 7 yrs. old, which is my G4/733 mhz
