Venom never made it big. They started metal, playing fast because they couldn't play well, but what they really wanted to be was a 70's rockband, with a tour bus, huge stage, loads of lights and smoke, platforms. But they didn't have the songs to become really popular, just some boring bangers like this one. Look at all the other Venom video's, they're all about the huge stage with the lightshow, but as a threesome they could never really fill it, just two guys walking around, like metal clowns

What??? I really don't know why people insist on categorizing everything. Seriously man, other than aesthetic, i don't think they are anything near what one would consider to be black metal sound. I would consider them "Heavy Metal", possibly thrash metal.
