According to test views it scored Higher then Friday The 13th and that wasn't even the final product. Give this one a shot, The boys at the Dunes have been working hard on this one and they get shit for trying to make the fans happy since day 1. I am no fan boy to dunes, but I do appreciate what there trying to accomplish. It's nice to see more Freddy and Jason flicks. If you love those characters I wouldn't bitch every time a new sequel comes out. Be excited.

This isn't a sequel. It's a remake. And I don't think I'll watch it. I only liked the old one's for the actors and characters, I never found them scary anyway, just exciting, and it was the fact that they were made a while ago that was appealing. I'm not that big a fan of horror anymore. I was when I was a kid.

Also in reply to an earlier comment. I prefered it when they left it all up to mystery, and I hate it when they try and explain too much about the killer's past.

Regarding Freddy's innocence, Michael Bay and the other directors said they learned from making LF too sympathetic and fixed that with Jason, so hopefully Freddy's the same. Although he sounded pretty innocent, which I hope he isn't, because not only is that "too sympathetic", it also means the glove comes from nowhere(or a BS explanation). Its his trade mark, and they seem content explaining the origin of the killers trademarks.
