I think I saw this setup at the fire festival up aberdeen way last year,.

Really liked the experience. Enjoyed helping a pensioner round explaning the whole death->rebirth thing.

She enjoyed it too by the end..

ah, dont forget that humans have been getting intoxicated and messing with fire rituals for tens of thousands of years, its only in the last fifty or so that some people/governments started to get paranoid... party on I say :)

My dad opened this ceremony & was the sixth person in holding two lanterns. All the kids including my daughter had attended a lantern making workshop during the festival... so had all made their own lanterns ready for the lighting of the fire labyrinth on the last evening of the festival... what a great Glastonbury... maybe one of my best!!

sunday at dusk in the kings meadow just to the east of the stone circle and downhill from the big oak, near where the dragon lies in the trees. look out for it next year. cheers x
