Is the tranny the one that was in the 240D?? I want to put the 300D motor in my next build, but not sure how to use the older four speed tranny. I was told the flywheel off the 240D won't bolt to the 300 crank cuz you will need to change the flywheel to use the clutch and so forth off that tranny? Good job on the build!!
Good observations! The conversion was done using an older 5-cylinder engine not designed for a turbo. The sad result was there was a lot of oil being lost out the blow by pipe on top of the valve cover. Not good. The oil pressure was low because the oil level was low :(
your oil pressure is way too low.. :P but i guess you already knew that. :) nice model though, not everyday you see an american driving a manual! :) ive got a -83 w123 240D :) 4 speed. your fender´s a bit sunburnt i think.. :P

@TheTravelall The 240d fly wheel bolts right up to a 300d and works ok
It's a little bit light that the 300d manual flywheels but still works ok
