@AudiophileTubes Graced Greensboro, NC with their presence last April they did, thought I had died and asked for last request? Boys bother with NC? Really? Did so back in the day they did, meaning 3 decades ago?
So wait. The cop is Peart, Gershon is Geddy, and _ is Alex, and in the second film the director is geddy and the owner is Alex, but where is Peart in the second movie?
Neil getting down with the disco version is PRICELESS!!! It is so cool that Rush has such a GREAT sense of humor. How can you not love these guys? One more thing...are Neil and Tom Hanks long lost twin brothers?
@steviea427 You may indeed be correct? Talent does have the tendency to gravitate? May I humbly ask why the guys not own the hall, let alone reside there? Well, they are Canadian, world views them as only hockey jocks? Go figure?
@superunt43 That is definitely true. The world never truly appreciated the skill and talent of one of the GREATEST bands to ever hit a stage. I put them on a par with the Who, Pink Floyd, the Beatles, Stones, etc: The real heavy hitters of rock history. They have forced themselves into the mainstream through sheer talent. The fact that they are funny and make fun of themselves just makes them even cooler. The world thinks of them as hockey jocks, but you and I know better. Rock On superunt43
@superunt43 The Stones definitely pale in comparison, but they are very influential, which is why I listed them. The Beatles and the Who are very influential also, and were creative in evolving over the years like Rush has done. That is why I listed them. Rush and Pink Floyd have much in common: they both put out complete theme albums which explore the human condition, they both have very heavy lyrics, and they both are awesome in musical creativity. I like other groups, but I LOVE Rush.
@superunt43 The greatest who ever lived? That is a TOUGH one. I will have to take some time and think it over. Rush is definitely in the top 3 though. They will probably come out as number 1 but I want to keep my options open. Rock On Bro.
Saw them front row in Sheffield, i felt sick with excitement when this was playing .. screaming my heart out when i saw Geddy walk on stage i almost had a heart attack! Greatest night of my life ever!!!
What makes it funny is they all make fun of their individual heritage: Geddy,the Jewish sausage man,Alex,the fat Yugoslavian and Neil the Scottish cop! Too funny!
@mrthundaboots Actually, Neil's playing the part of an Irish cop. Listen carefully when he says, "Jesus, Mary and Joseph" - he's saying those words with an Irish accent, not a Scots accent.
@SuperTekZone Well,I happen to know that Neil is of Scottish heritage and the Scots made up a lot of the police forces back in the day. I've read his books and he talks about his Scottish side when he was travelling by motorcycle through Scotland. Just saying...(-;
I saw this tour, and I just don't get the idiots taking shitty quality videos like this. My phone is off, and if they're on stage, the camera is off. I'm there to see and enjoy the band.

Saw them in Manchester and they where awsome, love the video things they always do taking the p**s out of themselves they have got to be the most un pretensious rock band in the world. Does anyone know if the waitress is Geddy's daughter???
@rocka985 I heard rumor it could be his daughter Kyla, but, nothing confirmed yet. I'm waiting for the dvd due out in Sept (hold yer breath, may be we'll get it before new year 2012!) which would likely have the cast credits.
@rosc2112 It does look like Kyla...if so, she is really a cutiepie! I did see that Geddy was able to get Kyla behind the scenes of her fave show "Gilmore Girls" a few years back...that would make her about 16 now, so maybe it is Kyle trying out the sheew-biz. (Imitating Geddy's faux-Warhol accent, lol). I love seeing these guys having so much fun!
This is indeed the best version of the intro video - but it's too bad you didn't leave in even a few seconds of the ACTUAL "Spirit of Radio" just to show the transition...
