1. Not all land was "stolen"; much of it was bought from Lobengula via Liepert. Blacks were removed from the land forcibly only after they rebelled killed 10% of whites and had been defeated.
2. From whom it was "stolen"? Ndebele came from Northern Natal circa 1830 and killed Shona, should Ndebele go back? Shona came from North and kicked out Bushmen circa 1700, should Shona go back?
3. Most of the land that was taken forcibly was undeveloped bush, not farms with buildings, irrigation systems, tools and crops. The value of a functioning farm is times more than sun dried bush.
4. Many of the farms have been bought after 1980. Zimbabwe's government certified these purchases and accepted taxes thus recognising them as legal. Farmers took loans from Zimbabwean banks and have paid them off over many years. Now these farms are not theirs now?

So political correctness defeated common sense. Educated and hard working people left the country. The industry was affected first, but the white farms have been preserved, providing food and some employment. In 2000 oppressions on the white farmers started and this last pillar of the economy crashed. All those bits and pieces that left from Rhodesia's infrastructure: water supplies and sewage treatment systems stopped functioning due to wear, tear and lack of repair. Hence, cholera.

Once Zimbabwe was beautiful Rhodesia with flourishing agriculture and sound industry. Bread basket of Africa. It stated that eventually blacks and whites will rule together, but currently black majority is not ready to rule. It was true, but it didn't fit egalitarian principles embraced by the West. For its racist practices Rhodesia was shunned by UN, placed under economic sanctions and succumbed to economic pressures and military attacks of Mugabe's guerrillas backed by Soviets and China.

Your post has so many flaws that I do not even know where to start.
1. Not all land was "stolen"; much of it was bought from Lobengula via Liepert. Blacks were removed from the land forcibly only after they rebelled killed 10% of whites and had been defeated.
2. From whom it was "stolen"? Ndebele came from Northern Natal circa 1830 and killed Shona, should Ndebele go back? Shona came from North and kicked out Bushmen circa 1700, should Shona go back?

3. Most of the land that was taken forcibly was undeveloped bush, not farms with buildings, irrigation systems, tools and crops. The value of a functioning farm is times more than sun dried bush.
4. Many of the farms have been bought after 1980. Zimbabwe's government certified these purchases and accepted taxes thus recognising them as legal. Farmers took loans from Zimbabwean banks and have paid them off over many years. Now these farms are not theirs now?

President Mugabe is really an outstanding African freedom fighter; he liberated Zimbabwe from an entity that should be erased from the planet if there was a way to achieve that.
Those heroic actions make that evil entity hate him. Africans must know that our worse enemy is the entity that enslaved us and that today is still owning our Africa.

Majority of farmers bought the land. Many of them bought it after 1980. The government permitted and certified these acquisitions, so people went to banks and took loans that they were paying off for 20 years. Blacks could have done just the same and actually some did. Now after the farmers invested so much money and their lives into these farms to allege that they "stole" them is an outright lie used to justify a daylight robbery by ZANU. Mugabe is a thief.

you are one misinformed person,my friend a white guy owns a farm that he paid for 5 years after he inherited it from his father.i was physically present when the police and land officials came to the farm to take it over but my friend showed his ownership documents and they left him alone till oday.this happened in 2002

Then your friend is very lucky. There were about 4000 white farms in 2000. Most of them have been purchased after 1980. Nevertheless, not more than a couple of hundreds remains today. What exactly do you call a lie? The numbers that I brought? I did not invent them; they are quoted by several renowned authors. And if you worked as a land officer then you should know that Lancaster House Agreement does not say that "the whites were to pay for the famrs10-15 years after independence". Just the opposite, Annex C, 'Summary of Independence Constitution' guarantees freedom from deprivation of property (Ch.C, sec.5) and disallows to change this freedom for ten years. (Ch.E, sec.30)
