People who wish to criticize or misrepresent Ron Paul's positions do so by associating them with extremists' positions that aren't his. That doesn't hurt those of us who have a proper understanding, but it may give a bad impression to others who aren't as familiar with his philosophy on government.
If your refering to one of Paul's various interviews, he has publically denounced any hidden ties to his work and its library. Why only "likely republican voters"? I know plenty of liberals that agree with Ron Paul. We should also be trying to get them to switch over to the Republican party so they can vote in the primaries.
