@unutmayacagimbirnick from all the stuff I have read & watched over the years these kind of sightings are synonimous with earthquakes.Some theories are out there suggesting that the activity of the tectonic plates creates a release of energy similar to static electricity but on a massive scale, and this creates these "earth light" phenomena.I don't know, but the fact it happens and is seen regularly by folk in the vicinity of earthquakes and volcanic eruptions is a real & often documented fact.
