  • "Do you want a sweet ?"

  • I must be the only one who likes this scene. The Alien looks frickin huge!

  • @BattDrixLestrange it didnt rape her it impaled her with its tail

  • The Alien rape Lambert

  • good thing they took it out looks more weird than scary

  • Woopwoopwoopwoop!

  • I'm glad they took it out but god damn it's still kind of creepy how it just crab walks forward like that. So ridiculous that it should be hilarious but it's still kind of scary.

  • the thing is better

  • what shit..ridley fucking scott...he,s a genious to make this bollox look good...cant stop laughing

  • I dont know, that kinda freaked me out tail first pointed toward you, then it crab walks at you....just weird i suppose.

  • @Simwillb probably because the alien is supposed to be a sexual creature this scene made it look like the alien was lying on its back with its dick out towards lambert which also would explain why she had no clothes on when ripley got there

  • lol

  • DONT FUCKME¡¡¡ this xenomorph model was realy huge

  • i wonder how many retakes of that they did til the alien said FUCK IT lol

  • Hi! It's Lambert, right? My name is Frizxkl. My hobbies are interstellar travel, gymnastics, exotic foods, and tongue piercings (as in piercing things with my tongue). I know I don't look like the average guy, but I've got a lot of hidden talents. Do you like eggs? I can do some really cool stuff with eggs! Also, I don't mean to brag, but you may noticed I'm hung like, well. OK, yeah, it's a tail, but it does double duty. Don't pretend you don't like dark meat, I see your black friend there.

  • @Fallowt ROFL!

  • What was Parker doing the whole time? He could have roasted the fucker long before it reached her. She probably couldn't make any noise and he didn't notice until too late. Next time, speak up, woman!

  • Before it stands up, it's almost cute, like a really fuck-ugly puppy that just wants to be petted. I know why it took so long to kill her: it was amazed that she was dumb enough to walk right past it like it was a piece of furniture.

"Dammit Bitch, I'm the supreme killer lifeform in the galaxy. Show some 'spect! Hey you're kinda cute. A lttle small and pale, but you know what they say: any port in a storm! Betcha' never seen one this long before! What? No I don't have a 7-foot condom!"

  • The crab walk itself is ridiculous, sure.. but the scene from 0:00 - 0:09 is beautiful when he sits there and unrolls his tail, they should have used it....

maybe even till 0:16 before the alien starts to crab...

i would include this moments, it looks good, and it adds more alien and atmosphere into the film...

i will also never understand, why the didnt include the ''alien hanging scene'' before it kills brett in the cinematic version.... thx

  • @jone4s cause it looks a bit silly and gives too much away

  • @Caesarslegion1 what, the hanging scene? no, it looks perfect.. i've seen the directors cut today.. i lend it out of the videothek.. its perfect.. the directors cut is so much better.. except the 'transmission scene'... but there are some additonal takes, which could be included... then it would be more perfect...

  • @jone4s Fear of the unknown is key to the film, the hanging scene gives too much away too early and it looks very fake-as in the wires look obvious. It may be that its meant to be swinging on the chains but in my opinion the end result is just a bit silly.

  • @Caesarslegion1 then we have different perception... as i said, i find it absolutely perfect.. and you have to consider, that audience, who watch it for the fist time, dont know how the alien in this stage may look like.. i bet they don't recognize it as the alien, at least they wont be sure, cause it could be also part of the machinery or something else.. it doesnt give too much away i think, this scene is quiete dark, you dont see too much details.. just my opinion.. i find it beautiful...

  • @jone4s I think with the ominous music and common sense should indicate its a fucking alien! But never the less fair enough if you think it fits in, we both have our opinions. But the final product indicates the production team didn't think it was necessary....

  • The original screenplay that is. It was turned into a novel

  • If I'm not mistaken, I believe in the original story by Dan O'Bannon (the book Alien) the alien had a lifespan of 24 hours or so. Not sure if it plays a part here with the alien slowing down, but I'm just saying.

  • I saw this first when I was 3. What gets me most about this scene is THAT FUCKING TAIL uncoiling like a giant limb/leg/dick. It is just showing her how its going to kill her.

  • I can understand why some people feel this scene is daft but I disagree, for me this shows the true alien nature of this strange being, really eerie check out the better quality version on the dvd.

  • Hahahahahahahahahaha linked from Cracked. This is so insanely goofy.

  • where did you find that scene? Thats awesome!

  • Still good to see no digital crap!

  • its still creepy as fuck

  • Having the alien move crab-like would of been pretty cool with the right kind of music and better camera cuts, but this way the scene drags on for too long. And yeah, the movement shows it's a human in suit like so many people said. But after lots of editing and a more creepy atmosphere, this scene could've worked.

  • parker wasnt bullshittin , that son of bitch was huge

  • shit quality.

  • It looks even worse because its well-lit.It really lets you examine just how fake-looking it was.If it had the same sort of somewhat dark lighting and the music, and the camera moved around a bit more,it'd look decent. With the music,it might've worked.

  • I would like to be an Alien an kill everybody

  • @Hackmoune cool

  • @Hackmoune Please start here in Miami. I hope you like international cuisine.

  • lambert gets bitten in the head, I remember seeing a picture of it in a book in the library at college once years ago and for the life of me I cant find a pic of it on the net anywhere.

  • I find it creepy. Instead of having this strong alien creature walking up to you like its the terminator or something, it just crawls along. Kind've creepy from a point of view.

  • Even though this deleted scene isn't very good, I find the crab walk inexplicably terrifying.

  • Jesus Christ, was this captured on an Apple 2?

  • @TheCerebrate

The dude in the suit was a 7-foot spear-chucker from Africa!

  • @ma7799 You stupid moron, the man is a Masai and is actually a graphic designer.

  • @Khultan

    A Masai is a spear-chucker.

  • @ma7799 You degenerate inbreds...only in America. Damn.

  • Why are so many comments surprised at th rapey-ness of the scene? The whole idea behind alien is that its a walking, living embodiment of rape - one of mankinds biggest fears. The only person we see get "raped" is Kane.

The crab walk could be done soooo creepily! Its such an unnatural way of movement.

  • When my dog drags its ass across the floor it's because it's got worms

  • This scene was omitted. It was never included in ANY cut of the movie.

Although there are several scenes which were cut from the movie (mostly due to pacing and not making it uncesseary long), this scene was never even considered by Ridley Scott. It was filmed and quickly shelved.

  • That was the shittiest thing I've seen in a long while. I'm so glad they took it out because it totally made the alien look lame.

  • @tovette The way he got up... (just sit'n and chill'n...) looked like he was acting in a freaking ape suit! PLANET OF THE- Oh! Wait... I'm in ALIEN... I might need to stand! XD!

  • I think the alien getting a "boner" at the beginning settles any debate whether she was raped or not.

  • They tried for some kind of odd motion, but scooting across the floor on its butt using it's hands looks more awkward than awesome. It doesn't look like a creature that moves effortlessly with fast reflexes. Cameron solved the movement problem in the second film.

  • Can someone help me out--what is supposed to have happened to Lambert and Parker in either version? In original, it looks like Parker attacks in h2h when Lambert is in way of flame thrower, and gets his bowel (?) pharyngeal-jawed by alien; but then Lambert--you see tail go under her leg, and hear her over intercom--was she supposed to have been violated by aliens tail up her vagina and out her mouth, or some suck thing? I've always wondered what happened and this footage still leaves me? thnx!

  • "crab-like style" - ROFL ))

  • i would have liked to have been able to see HOW it killed them, or what ever it did because in the actual movie, you see a naked leg, kind of asks whats been going on there

  • @SPY46 exactly SPY--is thats lamberts?--did she get raped in some Geigeresque weird psycosexual manner or wtf?

  • @SPY46 That is what makes it so creepy. I have also wondered what exactly happened to Lambert, but I think it is best to keep wondering instead of knowing everything that happens. Too many films today exploit that and it is nonsense. Also, I would look at the budget and the sexual backgrounds of H.R. Giger's work to institute an idea that they probably could not perform anything too over the top.

  • @SPY46 Also, Ridley Scott said in one of his commentaries on the film that he wanted to have a scene where they trapped the Alien in on of the vent shafts. He explained how he wanted to have the Alien use its acid (defense mechanism) to open one of the doors, bud money made that scene only become a dream. Now that Scott is proven as a director, we shall see his total vision when he creates his two Alien prequels, Prometheus. Hope that was solid information :)

  • Best rape scene in film history!

  • Oh that's creepy!

The alien seems fascinated by Lambert, if it wanted to impress her, it should've walked sideways like an actual crab instead of just lazily crawling towards her.

  • And then it terrifyingly MOON WALKS into the air vent!! :O

  • it was doing the boston crab. lol

  • Aliencrab or spycrab alien?

  • Creepy none the less!

  • Looks like they put hand cuffs on it and he's trying to get out of them.

  • i kind of like this scene

  • well, it shows alien's insectoid properties..

  • i purchased ALIEN on laser disc back in the early 1990's,

the 5 disc set had a lot of really cool extras and a hidden goodie,

i decided to tape my version of the ALIEN film, on VHS adding in

all the deleted scenes that are on the laser disc set, including this

scene. i think the deleted scenes were / are some of the coolest

images in the film. even though some audio is missing, it's still a

    great watch.

  • I thought it was kind of cool and makes the Alien less humanoid. The way the film ended up was probaly the best way to show the Alien, especially when it was shown moving slow from the side in this scene instead.

  • This scene is kinda creepy the way it walks like a child.

  • kinda cool...but rids the movie of horror...i gotta admit...with the right sounds and right music that would be better looking...and it would look kinda creepy...

  • This scene actually disturbed me a bit.

It made the alien look somewhat child like

  • The alien is crawling the way it is because of the shape of the head, he wouldn't be able to look up and around crawling torso down... Is there a deleted scene of what he does to Lambert with the tip of his tail???

  • @mkIIrtv05 actually, if you watch the old VHS with the final cut, when Lambert is about to being "raped" first (you see the tail moving between her legs) you can clearly see is not texan boots, but white shoes, because that scene was actually from Brett's death scene. I dont think they ever filmed the alien directly raping Lambert....Scott just implied that, by showing the tail getting between her legs. For Brett, It actually used the tail to pinch his back, and dont allow him to escape.

  • @mkIIrtv05 This movie's not supposed to be some sort of tasteless Fetish Fuel for people, if you want xenophilia look somewhere else.

  • @6HagareNo6Yumi6

Well I agree with the "not tasteless part"

  • Nice video, better quality here: /watch?v=eR5jYeIMBKk

Along with all of the other deleted scenes of Alien. Got myself the special edition box, am putting the features online

  • Is it just me or does the Alien look less threatening when he walks like that?

  • nice scene

  • Yeah, that walk was super lame. Why not have it crawl?

  • it was scooting along like a chimp

  • lol it looks like a dog when it wipes its ass along your carpet

  • If you think its weaker when its crab walking your dead wrong. Its a perfect organism. The Alien would have killed them no matter what they did to it. Like a cat playing with a mouse. This was to show its superiority. But in the end it came down to Scott not yet wanting us to fully know what it looked like. This clip looks bad only because no editing or sound or Gerry Goldsmith's awesome music. Those things make a big difference. Watch the film with no sound and see.

  • @23firestorm Did Parker try to save Lambert in this version? Because it doesn't look like it.

  • @pkstarstorm1up This was just before the rest of the scene.

  • Wait!! Where are the hidden cameras? Someone is definitely punking Lambert and Parker!! And the alien is like; "Wait... you want me to do WHAT??"

    Wow... "brilliant" scene... pfeh...

  • im guessing Ridley deleted that scene because he felt that you could kinda tell it was some guy in a suit in the way they moved.

  • The crabwalk makes the alien less intimidating. Plus it gave them ample time to try to kill it. I would have been tempted to attack it hand to hand while it was crawling toward me. Yes, given what we know about their strength I would have lost, but that's just what this scene does. I'm glad it was cut.

The fact that the alien could hide so easily in plain site did make it more creepy though.

  • @tharock220 bullshit you'd attack. Whether it's crab walking or juggling, if you turned around and saw that coming at you, you'd know you were dead

  • @Jazukai Do you not agree that the crabwalking makes the xenomorph much less intimidating??? It's a semi vulnerable position. At the very least I would throw something really friggin heavy at it and starting swinging oxygen tanks at it. Well at least I would be more tempted to do that than if it were standing. If it was standing up I'd push Parker into the damn thing and run as fast as I could to the lifeboat and leave Ripley to fend for herself.

  • hmmm... i think that if they made him walk on his hands and legs like in alien 3 it would look awsome. in this it looks a little liek a child that never learnd to walk.

  • This does look like a man in a suit. That's probably why it was cut. At this point in the film though, I would think the filmmakers would have cared if we saw the whole creature. This was supposed to be in the last halfhour of the movie (forgive me if I'm wrong Haven't seen this in a while) But we all must admit, if this happened to you, you would shit bricks.

  • Actually, I think that the crab-walk was relatively alright, but, at least in my opinion, I've not been too keen on the close-up frontal shot of the Xenomorph as it is concluding its crab-walk and sitting for some fair little stretch of time. I think that that shot wasn't particularly convincing. But, if they had kept the original shot intact throughout... The gradually unraveling of the Xenomorpth slowly rising up to its absolute full height is absolutely mortifying in this cut of it.

  • @GmanGregilla

Also, in reply to myself, Lambert's (nor Parker's) not having noticed the Xenomorph sitting relatively fairly nearby to them is rather unconvincing in this cut of this scene, plus Parker had more than ample time to roast the Xenomorph with his flamethrower while it was sitting relatively fairly nearby to them and when it was sitting there right by Lambert deliberately taunting them.

Also, the finalized cut from in the released version of the film used the shadow effects well.

  • @GmanGregilla I agree, the crawl was not needed (though there was something creepy about it), but seeing just how damn big it was in profile would have been a nice addition (that actor was chosen because he was super skinny and absurdly tall).

  • I'm glad they deleted this.

  • The crab walk thing was just silly, not fitting at all, but the rest of the scene is good. I like it how they made the lone xenomorph much less aggresive in this film than in the sequels, it takes it's time. Although I don't get how it can sit there for seemingly the whole time and Lambert doesn't notice it.

  • @DragonSemi, I'm guessing because it's quiet in the way it moves.

  • do you ever see what it does to her?

  • Very intresting. Yup, the Crab Walk ruined it, everything else looked awesome.

  • 1st shot of the alien sitting down is awesome, very creepy that it would just be sitting there while Lambert is preoccupied and doesn't notice . . . also, the standing up shot is scary too (you see a brief part of that in the actual cut), but its the walk in between that ruins it.

  • Good they cut this out,...

  • i guess its ancestors are crabs

  • uhh, i think the inherited traits from aliens are from so much chestbursting.

  • I think I did those moves in P.E.

  • i really liked when i first saw the alien stand up (not necessarily in this scene) i was like "Holy fuck that guy is tall"

  • Lol crab walk :D

  • hahah thats hilarious too bad theres no sound

  • Not seeing the alien in its enririty added to the horror, this scene is dumb

  • thats why it was deleted

  • @fdny9682 enririty is not a word

  • @Jerky128 your very smart

  • @fdny9682 You're not your.

  • @fdny9682 Which is what most movie makers forget nowadays.

  • The part where its sitting down looks great, now if only it didn't do that stupid walk.

  • it doesnt look very threatening when it walks like that.

  • No. They left it out because it looked shit. Blatantly obvious that it is a guy in a suit.

  • @justabloke1: I have to agree; it looks pretty goofy although I have no idea how it might've finally looked if they cropped stuff, etc.

  • They should release a disk with all the deleted scenes in it.

Aside from which, one of the biggest mistakes in the editing of Aliens [sic] is the fact that they deleted the scenes with the sentry guns.

  • @Fersomling Uhh, they did. A few years ago. Everything is back in a new cut. Could've done without this extra footage, but the extra few seconds in Brett's death scene of the alien hanging there are fucking creepy as hell.

  • 0:13 she gave it a boner O_o

  • LMAO!!!!

  • I`m glad that they deleted this for three reasons. The fact that you dont see the alien a lot is really interresting. The effect is really bad and why would the alien be crab walking like that?

  • shit ass quality :(

  • Its from Alien Legacy box set. If you go to special features then outtakes its there. Also theres a deleted scene where the alien crushes Bretts head. I couldnt see these scenes on my mates new nine disc box set though. Just on the Legacy version.

  • What DVD is this clip from?!

  • alien crab

  • Giant enemy crab approaches

  • Yeah....I can see why it was deleted,it's

so obvious there's an actor in that alien suit. It left nothing to the imagination anymore.

  • Where is this scene from?!

  • it is not from anywhere. this is it. you see?

  • Oh YEAH?! lol

  • lol, i could just imagine the director sitting there like, "OK, uh it is creepy but just the wrong kind of creepy."

  • Imagine picking up bottles and seeing an alien thinbg come crawling towards you in a freaky way

  • Damn! that's even scarier without sound.Should have left that in the movie,Ridley.KUDOS to the Lambert chic I don't know how she just stood there.

  • Holy hell no sound and it STILL freaks me out.

  • That is pretty fucking scary!

  • Well, that just scared the fuck out of me.

  • This reminds me of the the spider-walk scene in The Exorcist. I used to have a fear of spiders as a child and when you see something moving toward you in a totally unusual way and then stop it scares the absolute shit out of you. I think they were trying to do that in this scene. They should have just done a few more takes to get it to look right and left it in.

    It's still creepy though.

  • Where did u get this scene - DVD?

  • en alien DVD 20 aniversario

  • And why would this be cut off? What, you pay a few million extra for a few extra seconds?

  • I really like the scene and would love to see it in the blue ray! Gives me the creeps when i think why it would act in such a way. clever stuff

  • his tail certainly looks like an erect penis. and yes, it is implied that she got "fucked' jfr.

i remember distinctly that later when ripley gets back to them, lambert's corpse is suspended in the air by the alien's tail..and guess what? she's barefoot and missing pants. i'm guessing the alien used the tail to tear her clothes off, and then anally violate her.

watch rob ager's alien analysis. it'll explain further the sexual undertones of the film.

  • Please, the whole creatures have a sexual tone to them. The whole Alien world looks like the inside of a human body.

  • Ain`t that the guy who also says that "the chest burster scene is a male persons nightmare about the pain of giving birth"? It`s weird I haven`t red many places that it looks more like a dick comes out of their chest.

  • Say what?? The alien was still in the room when Ripley came in and found Parker and Lambert's corpses?? And yeah, I also found it odd as to why Lambert's body was hanging naked with blood trailing down her legs, lmfao.

Its tail being related to an erected dick? I'm not so sure about that. As far as I know, all it really used it for was to immobilize its prey or as some sort of whip to strike with when defending itself.

  • But if you take a look at that thing's head really closely (especially near the back of its head) you'll see how much it resembles a dick, lol.

  • no doubt!!! it was designed by H. R. Giger and the man seems OBSESSED by dicks. i have his whole collection, and lots of them are Alien airbrushes. and a LOT of them have dicks in them lol.

  • It's all in the eye of the beholder, I always thought of it as some horror dolphin.

  • Thank goodness that was deleted. Way too much of an awkward move for the guy in the suit.

  • Looks like a Man in a suit doing the crab walk. Glad they deleted it.

  • That actually is a man in a suit. It was some 6'8'' tall Massai guy who played the alien.

  • I think he's dead now

  • Wasn't that for the Predator?

  • am I the only one that consider the xenomorphs sexy?

  • yes, yes you are (unless youre thinking of tentacle porn)

  • That reminds me of Zoidberg from futurama. XD

  • o man that was fucked up lol, creepy as hell, they could of kept or got rid of it to me. this scene gose ether way with me.

  • The alien want to fuck the girl, have you seen the symbolick penis?!

  • wait in the movie, dose she get fucked?? like the tall gose inbetween he legs, i never knew if it was her susposing to being getting raped in some way.

  • Interesting! Where did you find this clip?

  • Damn that would be scary if you saw that on screen...

  • now that was creepy lol

  • this is what i miss in the AVP Prequels-The ALIEN(S)Are removed of their personality in those. Here he(it) is charming and deadly-LOL.

i suppose only with Sigourney Weaver they can be chrisamatic.
