i really like this song - having worked non-stop for 30 + years there are days i can really relate to it - however - never surrender works well for me too - thank you Sheeria for a great job - love the industrial theme
I think this song is about how, as we get older, we get absorbed into the soul-crushing machine, forced into 'the mold' and finding it destroying, but also finding it impossible to escape.
@PatrickLohKamp Indeed Sir, and prophetic of the conditions created when basing socio-economic systems on ideology that extolls self interest become sadistic, selfish exclusive (instead of inclusive community interests) as the hinge pin of motivation and ground of being. What else should we expect when such priorities govern our thought and actions from relations in the small shop to those of highest governance?
@Commiton Do you even know what you just said? I kinda got the gist, but do you really need to use such terminology in a youtube comment? People would have gotten it if you had said "Rampant capitalism/industrialization = little to no care for the individual" which was all I felt like translating that comment. No insult, it's just better to use small words on Youtube, considering the average viewer :)
@Chronische I concur. I did foul the gist, if there was one. This may be an entry made in some dim wee hour when lacking sufficient cognizance to be more responsible. Excuse me. Burp. Excuse me.
85 'likes' and 1 'dislikes' --- one person couldn't find the 'like' button, I suppose.

This song rings true and darkly prophetic to Modern times I think.
