tropical storm fay was just a rain storm. at least with hurricanes you get warning, a day or so. tornadoes just happen. i'll take the hurricanes any day. i live in tallahassee, we got something like 2 feet of rain with fay, it was a mess, but it dried up.
Glad to know someone caught a video of this. We live in Pittsburg, and can remember watching this from the little basement windows. Too many warnings this year!
This specific event was May 13th when a supercell passed over Pittsburg prompting a tornado warning. There was no severe weather on May 17th in this area.
they KIND of remind me of the sirens at McConnel Air Base, Kansas during the F5 tornado of 1990 which they were also Feederal Signal Thunderbolt dual tone Sirens
alright those clouds are amazing. its beautiful of how the storm clouds are under but cut so you can see the blue skys.

i went through fay it did like no damage to my house or anything but we got over like 1 foot of rain. and my power was out for like 7 hours.

I moved from Frontenac to Florida right before all the warnings went on...now I am dealing with Hurricane Fay...still kinda miss Frontenac a little
