@pupipawd if you don't have a hard drive i suggest you get a memory card, especially if you are going to play fable 2 because you will need a way to save your game.

People like Fable because its one of the few RPG's where you really feel like everything you do has effect on your character and how the people react towards your character, And that the player can be so creative about its character makes the player and its character really close to eachother and that makes the game more interesting.

You should start with fable 1, or fable lost chapters, its a really great game, amazing graphics for when it came out, everything is up to you, what your combat is, Range, Mage, Melee, you can do fun events, good solid plot, fun all around, a lot to do, for instance...

mass killing sprees, earn gold, build families, become famous, do all the jobs and get all the weapons, and then just mess around with it all.

I could easily see the story of the game as a plot of a "successful" movie. yeah the game play has a good single player story mode, with boy or girl character & different classes. like warrior, magic user, gunner(riffle) & good & evil sides. Plus the online allows you to make money with other people. you can then use that money at any time to buy all the best stuff in the game at any time.
