I can't say the Lions were among the best teams before Millen, but they were decent. Indeed, if they would've kept the original GM, the Lions might've gotten to a superbowl, given how weak the NFC is.

I remember when that jackass Millen was on TV and said "Stick a fork in them (the Lions), they're done. Then the Lions won a bunch and made the playoffs.I knew then Millen was an idiot and groaned when they hired that boob. The Bucs and Panthers have been to the Super Bowl more times than Detroit.
