  • italian boat simulator 2012

  • damn, EA has really stepped up on TORs graphics.

  • Wow! Very Nice!

  • Maya?

  • Can I have my Earth Core back ?

  • god renders entire OCEANS in REALTIME since MILLIONS oy years...

i wonder what his pc is!

  • Render time: 1 hour PER FRAME...

  • PLEASE GET A JOB......AT ROCKSTAR GAMES !!!

  • @kimi450 you know that this ain't real-time right ?

it would never come in a game.. this have to render for hours before you can see the animation..

  • @AcAnimate yes, i do. i was just saying how awesome it is.....

  • how powerful of a machine do you need to be able to run this smoothly?

  • Man, It's so great. I can fap at this. Seriously. For me it's like pornography.

  • Real or not?

  • This is AMAZING... the only thing that I can sense is wrong is that when the foam lands on the ocean surface, it dissapears instead of interacting with the water but I dunno if that's a program flaw or something but wow... its amazing...

  • really nice and just 33 hours look very acceptable.

congrats dude you did very well. maybe a tutorial would be really cool.

  • just awesome

  • Bet the guy driving the ship was going "FFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-"

  • @whonow09 No one was driving the ship, this is a simulation.

  • @DaftD0g I know that, I was saying if there was someone driving the ship.

  • Looks amazing, realflow rules the CGI world

  • 1 h 23 days to render one frame???

    Is it for real??? XD

  • Oh God!

  • how long would this take to render on my 2.19ghz celeron 64bit with 3gb ram

  • fuck holywood.

  • Man, and to think that a real life scene has about 132000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 billions particles to sim

  • @Thirras88 real life scene doesent have particles

  • @NikitoSPivot - Real life doesn't have particles? Look up "atoms" and "molecules" (and even those have sub-particles).

  • @RFC3514 those aren't particles their "atoms" and "molecules" which may have something even smaller in them smaller and in the things that are smaller there are smaller things and smaller and smaller and smaller...

  • @NikitoSPivot - I guess before learning about atoms you should go learn the meaning of the word "particles", then. And the difference between "their" and "they're", while you're at it...

    From Wikipedia (/wiki/List_of_particles#Atoms) :

"Atoms are the smallest neutral particles into which matter can be divided by chemical reactions. [...] Molecules are the smallest particles into which a non-elemental substance can be divided while maintaining the physical properties of the substance. "

  • @RFC3514 blablabla... what I meant was that there might exist something smaller than atoms and molecules that we don't know about...

  • @Thirras88 And that's actually way more than it actually has... :D

  • @gagagegegigigogogugu It's less, considering you can fit a trillion particles on a 0.1 mm pin head.

  • @01Lagger A trillion has 12 Zeros, from a pin head size to the video's scene, there is at max, 9 more zeros (so 1 billion times bigger). Total of 21 Zeros, how many did he used: atleast 40.

So, like i said, it's way more than it actually has :P

  • how did you get 5 mins and 48 secs with 32 millions particles in this scene? I have a scene with 16 millions particles, which floods the subway, and one frame takes from 40 mins!!!!

my PC specs: Core i7-2600K CPU @ 3.70Ghz 16Gb RAM.. Sim takes only 3Gigs :(

  • @Mclawest try out RealFlow Hybrido system, it has ability to take care LOTS of particles

  • @razkod the thing is that I'm using Hybrido indeed!!

  • @Mclawest It all depends on the complexity of your collisions, try using lower poly versions of your collision geometry.

  • Time it took to render: over 9000 days

  • @Ozitiho 9000 days ist about 24 years :P

  • @Ozitiho ITS OVER 9000!

  • @Ozitiho 27 Years?? XD

  • I think is faster to do this in reallife :P

im not saying it will be better but faster :P

  • @Vire70 well, 400 frames multiplied by 1.5h equals 25 days...

  • @morgothFLOW Holy crap, that was longer than the time i download the Matrix Trilogy

  • I would try smth like this, if my PC want useless for 2 weeks. My single FumeFX sims are though enogh

  • Amazing!

  • does maxwell render, renders maya animation sequence?

  • 1h 23min per frame! Niiiiiiiiice! :D

  • Wow... I'm really impressed by the render time. Less than two days for something so magnificent. I would've estimated more like weeks to be honest, and your computer whilst fast isn't anywhere near a supercomputer either.

  • Truly Stunning :)

  • will they ever make render kit available for vray? like seriously i thought that would of happened by now.

  • freaking amazing!! great job man!

  • OMG. Super simulation but render time is hurts.

I wonder how long will it takes when put it in render farm.

  • ultra nice :)

  • Fantastic guys!!

  • wow!

  • this is fantastic Guys c'mon, hybrido rules!!! show off the pace of Yuor fantastic software, im glad to see it in real action, this is RF power, and what a render

  • Very nice.

And render time is not bad too.
