I think these are actually Moon Bears not black bears an extremely endangered bear that is almost extinct due to over hunting. Their stomach acid is believed to have some sort of healing properties or something. Very sad story, very cute video ^_~

he found them and tried looking for the mother but couldn't find her so he took them in. The state they were in when he found was really bad, they were so weak they could barely stand, he nursed them back to health feeding them milk and rice flour. I think you can see from the clip he isnt the richest farmer but im not sure.

the local wildlife group is already making plans to release the bear cubs when they are old enuf and strong enuf back into the wild.

Well, it was reported by AP in print that a local animal welfare organization is planning to take over their care and releasing them back into the wild sooner. I think this is better as they should remain wild and in their natural habitat. Also the farmer can't keep him for long as these bears though cute when they are young, can grow up to be dangerous. What the bear sees as "playing with the farmer" could be deadly as it has sharp claws. When that happens, kill the bear or killing the farmer?
