  • totally agree with @SilentStalkerX lmao

  • : / I could imagine this in real life..

    !!

Girl: S-so I was wondering.. I've been i-interested in you for some time and so.. I wanted to know if.. you know if you were..

/Ask her to be your girlfriend

Girl: HA! You gullible fool! Just like the rest of them! Time for you to die!

    The girl attacked!

    You: O.o WTF!?

  • @tastykimchiOFDOOM I don't know what you're referring to, but this made me laugh. XD

  • Interesting music, but can get really annoying after a while, especially that beginning.

  • I can't get enough of this song.

  • @somedamnfangirl Neither can I especially after the Jack Frost chanting. Pure 100% awesome ear candy!

  • @MrWakka66 Yay! Is Jack Frost the one chanting on the track?

  • @somedamnfangirl Nope.

  • @Bryantzerox Then, what does "Jack Frost chanting" mean? XO

  • @somedamnfangirl The lyrics to the theme (yes, those sounds are words, but very difficult to decipher) sound a lot like "hee" and "ho", so people like to say it's one of the Jack Brothers singing, since they use "hee" and "ho" when they speak and they are the most identifiable SMT demons at this point in time.

  • @Bryantzerox They're clearly out of their minds. With voices that deep, they've gotta be Black Frosts.

  • Can anyone MPC this

  • I love this game so much

  • I'm glad SMT is not well known. Why? 'Cause Politicians and Fox News and Jack Thompson would go ballistic!

  • redjirachi1: I have to admit, every time I think of a law ending or see a law path I think of YHVH and go neutral or chaos as a big F U.

  • YHVH-Ignore the scriptures, you don't want to worship him. You seriously don't

  • HE HO HO HEE HEE HEE HEE HO HO HO HOA HAHAHA

  • It kinda sounds like soul phrase o.ò

  • I want this game again

  • Hee-ho!

  • I can no longer see a Jack Frost and imagine him without that deep-voice anymore. It makes me laugh.

  • I love the fact that while this isn't Shoji Meguro's regular style, he can still make an epic, unique soudtrack while still having that same "SMT" vibe.

  • @Setzergabbini not much of a surprise considering how different pre- and post- Persona Meguro is

  • This ost sound like Krzystof Penderecki except the choir of demons only shoji meguro's computer can summon those

  • I like the first and third parts... the first part is a cacophony that I thought it was suitable to the moment... well, it's something that surprises you at a first moment, but once you get used to it, it's nice. =) The third part is pure epicness. It brings that "life or death" feeling to the battle... as for the "Jack Frost Orchestra in G Minor" (lol!) I think it's weird... not only in the battle theme, but in all of the game songs... are they saying anything, at least?

  • Dem Baritone Jack Frosts bro

  • Sounds good, But I can't shake the fact that the first 13 seconds sound like a total MESS.

Yeah, I said that out loud didn't I? But seriously, all the chords, tones, EVERYTHING just plays oddly after each other. Just sounds fucking eeeugh.

The 3rd part at :48 sounds like true Meguro beauty.

Seriously, I don't mind the orchestral and the demonic humming and shit, but that first part needs SERIOUS FIXING.

  • @modeseven777 At the time you hear the song in the game, it fits in. It's not really an ost that sounds good on its own (even if it does), it has to have the game help as well.

Of course, you could be right, so don't mind me.

  • Wild Critics stand before you

Use Bury My Dread *Attack misses*

Critics use "It All Sounds the Same"

    It's effective lost 20 HP

Use The Fear of God *It's Super Effective!!* *Critics faint gained 300 XP*

  • @powersoftritone

    > got 1 Life stones

    > UNKNOWN FORMA COLLECTED

    > Got 2 Critic Wigs

    =P

  • ill hee your ho

  • You can hear it's him in the main melody (0:50), in that it sounds more like Meguro than it sounds like anyone else.

Persona music is still awesome, though. Not everything needs classical instrumentation.

  • I don't get why everyone bashes the later Persona games poppy style of music, I like that each series has a distinct style of music that fits well. With that said, I love SJ's music, this theme really captures the situation that you're in. A mysterious land away from home filled with demons, Earth's fate on your shoulders and the like. Meguro is amazing.

  • @TuxedoComplex Yeah, there's really no reason to be completely aligned to one style of music. Meguro clearly isn't. His work on the SMT series shows the breadth of his considerably musical flexibility. I don't think I've ever heard anything by him that wasn't perfect for its purpose.

  • They should not be complaining since Meguro was taking the series into account, not his own style. He specifically tailored the music to fit the theme and it shows. When they complain, they should not be asking "why didn't he do what he did before?" rather they should be asking "is the music appropriate for this game?" His range is really what makes him such a good composer.

  • "The demon suddenly attacked!"

FUCK FUCK SHIT ASS CUNT BALLS FUCK SHIT HELL GODDAMMIT RAWWRRR

  • I'm stuck, how do you guys get to Mitra's chamber? I activated the elevators so far.

  • @BOXN1 you can't get to Mitra's chamber using the elevators, try using the stairs and finding hidden doors

  • Definitely a different style for Shoji Meguro! It's so beautiful and epic!

  • SATAN IS SINGING THIS SONG!

  • @ericfuchs123

Oh if only. My greatest wish is for him to show up and kick Mastema's ass, then proceed to team up with the player and slap the shit out of Lucifer if the player goes on the Law route.

  • I always thought the music was nice, but i was so focused on winning the fight I never took the time ti listen to it.

Now every time I fight I can imagine how serious things are.

  • This is the only battle theme of any length which I have heard completely and not because I waited on purpose to hear the thing. Some of the regular battles in this game are vicious. Great song too. It sounds like you're fighting for your life every time you are.

  • Orchestra of Jack Frosts?

All I have to say is: AWESOME

Jack Frost is what got me into Shin Megami Tenesi when I saw him when a friend was playing Devil Survivor. I have Devil Survivor now, but I don't think Apocalyptic Lockdown is anything compared to the plot of Strange Journey

  • as well as hopelesness

  • the only random encounter music to instill fear in my soul

  • Hunting and The Fear of God my two favorite regular battle themes to this day!

  • Shoji has taken a completely different direction with the OST this time.

I do listen to symphonics. But then I do have to say I prefer his usual techno trances....

  • @AudaCity3371 You took the words right out of my mouth. The first time you hear this game's music without knowing who its composer is first, you wouldn't easily tell that it's the same composer as Nocturne and Persona!

  • @MysteryEzekude I know. I thought that Meguro liked that crappy kind of music that he did for Persona and Nocturne. I strongly feel that Tsukasa Masuko should've composed the entire series...

  • This should've been the boss battle theme

  • Seriously, the battle theme is one of the many things that kept me playing this game... The battles would be really boring without this playing in the back.

  • Now how about Jack Frost orchestra in G Minor?

  • @FoShaiZa69 FFFF

  • The beginning and end parts are awesome, but I just can't get into the chanting. It's too slow.

  • ''Kay Ihave 5 hp and no healing, but the ship door is only 3 squares away, please no encounter please no encounter...''

''YOU WERE CAUGHT BY A SUPRISE ATTACK''

    ''NONONONONONO''

*first demon attacks you then misses*

    OMGOMGOMGOMG

*second demon attacks you and misses*

''OF COURSE THE ONE TIME THE AI WANTS TO WORK TACTICALLY I AM ABOUT TO DIE''

*third monster attacks you and hits you*

    ''FUUUUU-static screen world gets black''

  • @cronnoponno

I ALWAYS carry a demon or two Dia with me. So anytime my HP goes lower than 20% I'd Dia my character like shit.

  • @nisbahmumtaz909 In this game, it is necessary to A) Save like a psycho, B) Always have a healer, and a backup healer, and then a backup backup with buffs, and C) Be crazy prepared.

  • @narutardkyuubi

I'm up to sector Grus right now, and holy damn I love the plot twists.

They really out did themselves with the story, among other things in this one.

  • @nisbahmumtaz909

Well yeah. First time I found Strange Journey... well strange :D Because my previous experiences where Devil Survivor and Persona and I thought all SMT is an anime style, story driven game... But just as you said, when the story got interesting around sector Eridanus it grow on me and for me this is THE SMT experience. This game is old school as hell, but modern at the same time. Perfect harmony. It's very sad that so many people overlook this gem and play FF13 instead...

  • @damarus87

I freaking LOVE FF...1-10, that is. 12 is just okay, since I sort of like the MMO style, but not what I wanted, really. 13 is just WAY too graphic-driven. Story and music is nice, and graphics are superfluous, but gameplay and replay value....is the WORST out of the whole FRANCHISE. Even worse than Crystal Chronicles.

Gameplay speaks HUGE is we're talking about FF. Not to mention the sidequests, so replay value is never missing in 1 to 12. The least I can care about are characters.

  • @nisbahmumtaz909 really got to appreciate Atlus when they put their time and effort into something. At first, I was a bit skeptical. I had just beaten Nocturne, and I heard this game was on the DS (which was seriously lacking in hardcore RPGs) and I decided to give it a shot. I love it.

  • @cronnoponno

That's why you don't go outside without being crazy prepared.

  • @cronnoponno should had just ran away from the fight :P

  • @soaptubby you cant run from a surprise attack

  • @cronnoponno well you could had try to run, but i guess it wont be as interesting as this so. uh.. forget what i said :'(

  • @soaptubby You can't run from surprise attacks.

  • @cronnoponno

    Protagonist fell...

  • @cronnoponno Mine was worse.

    >be level 5 in Antlia

    >face one of those bugs

    Oh, no proble-

    >bug casts Mudo on me

    >die instantly, then static+Schwartzwelt

    FUCK

  • I'm pretty sure i'm not the only one to let this song run while in battle. :)

  • Well well well!! This certainly is unique! This is a true departure from other Shin Megami Tensei soundtracks that mainly involve the use of stylish, upbeat rock and techno! Shoji Meguro is apparently fantastic at composing orchestral music as well!

  • is this seriously a NORMAL battle theme!?! It's so EPIC

  • I love it when battles stretch on for a while just so I can hear 0:48. It's the same with that flute part in the FF7 battle theme.

This game convinced me to give JRPGs made in the last decade a chance, after being disappointed by Xenosaga and Final Fantasy XII and XIII (and, to a lesser extent, X). Now I'm enjoying Dragon Quest, Kingdom Hearts, and EVERY SMT game. God bless JRPGs.

  • @CronoManiac42 You can skip the DQ and Kingdom Hearts games, just go straight to the SMT series they're more or less the only good JRPGs.

  • @THEAWESOMEGHOST Chrono Trigger begs to differ.

  • @CronoManiac42 Eh...Chrono Trigger didn't get good until the Magus boss fight, from then on it was awesome.

  • @resievilfan Heckran through Nizbel was kinda dull, but going to 2300 AD and watching the Lavos video is amazing. Escaping prison is always fun, too.

  • @CronoManiac42

But Kingdom Hearts is a bad series where you can press the same button over and over against while occasionally pressing another button to heal and still beat everything, even the secret bosses if you learn how to run around commonsensically. And then there's Dragon Quest, a series that basically amounts to an even more boring grindfest than it's old FF rival. Really, SMT, with it's emphasis on post-apocalyptic cyberpunk demons, ideological views and psychology is much better.

  • @Kageryushin

At least Kingdom Hearts and Dragon Quest is more fun than Dragon Age. That's my opinion. And isn't SMT the same, though you typically either grind or get the right demons (or Personae in the Persona series). Though to me, Tales of Series and SMT series are the best JRPG series right now.

  • @nejiharuno

Kingdom Hearts and Dragon Quest, better than Dragon Age? Pffff, no. And even if they were, it wouldn't be saying very much. And grinding doesn't help shit in SMT, it's all about fusing, which takes much less time than beating the same enemy to death with the same physical attacks over and over. Which, by the way, is impossible in SMT due to the importance of elemental affinity. And Tales series requires a ridiculous amount of grinding and has incredibly generic, boring plotlines.

  • @Kageryushin

All is in Dragon Age is an MMORPGs, either you just let the AI become retards in battle or you are micromanaging. The stats are nearly useless, they are too many bugs in the console version. In SMT, YOU DO have to GRIND. You know why? Because of the damn level limits when it comes to the fusing. Not only that, if you are too low level, you just end up getting ass raped. And it comes down to luck as well. Tales series does not require a ridiculous amount of grinding, there are -

  • @Kageryushin

    - ways to increase the amount of experience that you can PURCHASE in the beginning of your next playthrough, along with transferring over your money AND items with the GRADE system based on your performance in battle. Generic? I don't see movies or other games focusing on racism, final antagonist with actual good motives. If you pointing the generic, boring plotlines, go point at Dragon Age. Hell, even the Grey Wardens are rip off from Claymore.

  • @nejiharuno Firstly, MMORPGs are bad because of their inherently exploitative nature. They're basically formulated specifically to keep you addicted so as to drain your money. Dragon Age doesn't work on this principle, the large world and more interactive PCs instead serving as a method of increasing depth which neither KH nor DQ has, especially KH. DA is much better at focusing on sandbox gameplay, a mark of superior game design. Still, I wouldn't call it a particularly spectacular game itself.

  • In SMT, the grinding is negligible compared to many other JRPGs. I mean, of course you're expected to fight along the way, but I'm not having to put in a dozen hours making sure my characters will rape everything I come across in the entire game. If things are left up to luck in SMT, your strategy is obviously flawed. As for Tales, you still have to grind in your initial playthroughs for dumb amounts of time. As for how cliche it is... well fuck, I could go on for pages about this. And I shall.

  • Tales of... terrible plot, pitiful characters, mediocre anime graphics, forgettable music, and EXTREMELY repetitive gameplay isn't my idea of a good game. You think RACISM as a plotline is original? Zone of the Enders, Arcanum, Mass Effect, Valkyria Chronicles, DRAGON AGE. You think a bad guy with good motives hasn't been done to death before? Miles Edgeworth, Saren Arterius, Loghain, Sydney, Losstarot, Dr. Breen, Saturos and Menardi, FUCKING MAGUS FROM CT, Jedah, That Man from GG...

  • Speaking of Claymore, though I enjoy it, it's pretty much a lighter and softer shounen ripoff of Berserk anyways, so there. Really, Dragon Age is even more generic than Tales. I don't even want to defend it in regards to the Tales series, because personally I didn't have any more fun with it than Tales. Both fail pretty hard.

Now then, excuse me while I sip tea and have more conceited taste than you.

  • @Kageryushin

Magus eventually joins you, if you allow him to. Same with Loghain. Yet the situation in DA blew up so hard in his face, he continued doing it his way to the point there is hardly any reason for him to be redeemable. Zone of the Enders hardly had any mention of racism, then again I couldn't find and play the second one so I am basing it on the first one. CT, the racism is there, but it can be resolved, slightly. Otherwise forgetable. VC, only played my friend's copy for a bit.

  • @nejiharuno

How can you deny the inherent racism in ZotE? The discrimination against Enders is CLEARLY a parallel to racism and is half the point of the storyline. The orcs of Arcanum are oppressed, discriminated against, and stereotyped as near-mindless subhumans, despite merely having undergone a wholly cosmetic transformation. In VC, Darcsen-hating is institutional in Europa, especially in the Empire, which is happy to round them up, burn their homes, and send them to concentration camps.

  • @Kageryushin

Mind you that I haven't gone far in VC, as I only play through the actual first chapter. Also, in the first one never touch on the subject of racism in Zone of the Enders. And like I said, I couldn't find and play the second one so I am basing it on the experience of the first game.

  • @nejiharuno

The entire point of ZotE is that the Enders are discriminated against, looked down upon, and exploited, leading to the conflicts that arise in the story when the Enders decide they aren't inherently inferior to people from Earth.

  • @Kageryushin

Can't deny that Claymore is a ripoff of Berserk. Arcanum, I never heard of it. Mass Effect, I cannot deny the racism is there. As far as I remember. Magus and Dhaos from Tales of Phantasia, the one that came out back in the SNES era, were the first bad guys with good motives. BUT Magus was doing it for revenge, he tried to save his sister. But he hardly gave a crap about anyone else at that time. Dhaos was dong it so HIS people can live.

  • @nejiharuno

    ...Doing it so...

Can't believe I messed that up.

  • @nejiharuno

    Meh, it's YouTube.

  • @nejiharuno

Even if Tales did it first, they've been doing the concept to death for ages now.

  • @Kageryushin

Not really, I think four games didn't go into the "final antagonist is really doing what he believes is right/is a broken hero" thing.

  • @nejiharuno

That's four out of twelve games, easily half the amount where the concept is used, which isn't counting minor villains. I mean, even if the Tales series really likes wanking to this concept, it doesn't even use it particularly well compared to the literature that includes antagonists that perform necessary evil for noble causes, exemplifying its poor story. Dhaos was basically just a dick right up until the point you kick his ass and he reveals his goodness only really at the end.

  • @Kageryushin

Isn't everyone a dick to someone? So that doesn't really hold any candle in my books, so that practically ruins what you said about Magus and Loghain, even though you already mentioned you are not defending DA. Sorry about the secret boss thing, miss read it.

  • @nejiharuno

My point is that Dhaos' transition from bad guy to good guy was rigid and not well done, all things considered. It's only too bad he considers himself so far above humans that he regularly Beam Spams everyone with no regard for the consequences. No, he has regard for the consequences - that being the extinction of humanity. It's his explicit goal, since he believes that's the only way to protect Yggdrasil and the Mana Seed. Hey, it's not his planet he's screwing up now, is it?

  • Dhaos orders the total and absolute elimination of any communities he deems has any remote connection whatsoever to magitech development. This often includes completely clueless children who are murdered for the sole reason of being the unlucky offspring or relatives of magitech scientists. Aselia's magitech research was rushed into unstable development to (whoops) combat Dhaos's own pre-emptive threats against the planet.

  • When the party rushes Dhaos's palace following Valhalla, he and simply questions them, a group of soldiers clearly representing a society he has already threatened to annihilate, on their reasons are for coming to kill him. This is a problem on its own, since he already brainwashed Meia to personally assassinate the party earlier in the game. Dhaos consciously decides to exert a form of racial discrimination and become the judge, jury, and executioner of Aselia to benefit Derris Kharlan.

  • In all practicality, he is utterly clueless to the ramifications of his actions at every level. The famous "If there is evil in this world..." quote is less thoughtful social commentary and more just illustrating Dhaos' ridiculous mindset that self-defense is a form of evil and mindraping people to commit atrocities somehow proves natural human malevolence. Oh, and the only reason he needs the mana seed is because his people are even worse than humanity. What an asshole. Sorz for the delay.

  • @Kageryushin

It's alright, in the delay. And I can see what you mean in Dhaos' behaviour and mindset.

And I agree that it is balanced quite well, Nocturne's hard mode.

  • @nejiharuno

It's very soothing to see you throw the towel in so politely, but you won anyways, considering I ended up playing ToP for hours today just because you reminded me Despite saying I dislike generic JRPGs, I play them anyways and will likely continue buying FF till the day I die, durr hurr. It would be remiss to discuss ToP without mentioning that it ranks among the most graphically beautiful games released for SNES, and probably the most graphically advanced RPG of the 16-bit era.

  • @OmegaChosen0

I fail to see how Ilya and Adachi have anything to do with the previous conversation.

  • @Kageryushin

Sandbox? IF I remember, Sandbox is a type of game where you have enough freedom to go without what appears to be an invisible wall. DA has many invisible walls. And very few NPCS you can interactive with, less so than Fallout, but more than Borderlands, but that one is more fun. But the problem is, all except Dog, Orghen, and Sten, makes me want to strangle them for their own stupidity and don't look at the bigger picture.

  • @nejiharuno

I like Fallout 3 much more anyways. =|

  • @Kageryushin

I thought you wanted less grinding? Considering you were going on how bullshit it was that you had to go through. Something tells me you won't enjoy Disgaea.

  • @nejiharuno

Oh God, Disgaea. Well, hey, at least you actually have to be strategic to some extent (at the beginning before you kill everything in one hit). And the story is decent enough due to nothing ever actually being treated seriously. But fuck, they even admit Baal is just a way to make you grind longer in the goddamn dialogue. I suppose this brutal honesty helps it along.

  • @Kageryushin

In Tales of, you can adjust the difficulty, that means you DON'T have to do the grinding, the only downside is that you don't recieve any GRADE for it. And yes, in some cases you DO have to depend on luck, the Fiend battles in Devil Summoner Raidou stars in currently AND the Trumpteer in Nocturne. Let's not forget the cameo or ultimate optional boss in the series, Elizabeth in P3 and Hito-Shura in DDS1. You need luck, or exploit a strategy, to win. Or Nocturne's hard mode.

  • @nejiharuno

Grinding =/= difficulty, so it just makes Tales seem stupider that lowering the difficulty lowers the amount of tedious bullshit you're forced through. As for SMT's randomness, the Fiend battles aren't bad at all, what are you talking about? Elizabeth is one of the easiest secret bosses in the series, just being a fucking watered down DDS Satan. Hitoshura I WILL DEFINITELY FUCKING GIVE YOU, I can't even beat him without using Red Star, but then again, it's motherfucking Hitoshura.

  • Nocturne's hard mode is balanced enough for what it is, though.

  • @Kageryushin

Second battle in Nocturne's Hard mode, not random encounter. "Critical, strike, dead before having a turn." How is that balanced?

  • @nejiharuno

Oh please. If you're really trying to not fuck up, it's possible to survive. I mean, hell, I can't even imagine losing those non-random encounters in the beginning. I've never even had such a thing happen to me. And even if it did, you restart so close to that location anyways the loss barely counts for anything.

  • @Kageryushin

I wasn't trying to fuck up, it depends on luck (which was obviously against me at that battle in Hard mode though I didn't get that again... yet.) Also, I won against three Fiends, I only lost once and that was because I was underleveled when it decided to show up. Won against the before mentioned Fiend only because I lucked out by avoiding two instant kills and have the Vengence Seal from one sword for Raidou and know how to dodge. That was the only gameover in the entire game.

  • @nejiharuno

Well, I did say "balanced for what it is." Which, you know, is Atlas' gift to all RPG masochists. I mean, honestly, many RPGs have a great deal of chance in their systems, Nocturne's hard mode, which is not even the main game, is made to be an unfair romp through the RPG equivalent of genital mutilation. It's kind of the point. And in that regard, I think it's balanced quite well! I'm sure you agree.

  • @Kageryushin

Elizabeth is not the easiest scret boss, Margaret is. The only surprised I got when I ended up stop paying attention when she switched Magic charge with Physical... And well you can guess what happened. The Fiend battles? I forgot which Rider it was, but it had a special that was an instant kill. Without a sword with mortal null, you need to absolute luck to survive... I didn't encounter all of them though. Beside the fact Raidou can't endure much damage.

  • @nejiharuno

Dammit, I messed up on secret as well!

  • @nejiharuno

I never said Elizabeth was the easiest, but she's certainly absolutely nothing compared to Satan or Hitoshura. Margaret is just Elizabeth except you've got your party with you. They're both really just Satan watered down, using the same concept of extreme power that can be easily countered due to sheer predictability. And seriously, the Fiends aren't that bad. Just get the damn sword if you want to beat that Rider so bad, eliminating the luck factor entirely. And learn how to dodge.

  • Great theme. Sucks that I finish battles very quickly :\

  • I like the Boss Battle Themes of strange journey. Only problem is, they are way too short. Especially the Boss Battle theme.

  • This song seriously makes grinding for Macca fun. :) It makes it so that I cheer when a battle commences. Wonderfully epic.

  • It's Black Frost :D

  • ME MEOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • This track is off the fucking chain, just like the whole game.

  • One of the best battle themes ive heard. why are the SMT games SO awesome?

  • SMT games are pretty much awesome by default.

And this is probably the best regular battle theme in the series.

  • Anyone know the name of the mini boss theme?

  • @698qwerty An Honor Befitting That Name

  • @chocobunneh Thanks!

  • This sounds awesome! Shoji Meguro is awesome as always!

  • I can't find a theme out there better than this. It makes pumped for a fight, it makes me wanna dance and it sure makes me wanna go play some Strange Journey!

  • And finally, the release is upon us. Here's hoping that Tuesday isn't just the shipping day, because I can't wait to pick this up.

  • would you shut the fuck up tyr8

  • Comment removed

  • Does anyone know if this game is like Nocturne in the sense that if your main dies you get Game Over?

A small gripe but meh, that had me throwing my controller more over a fricking Mudo spell than anything else.

  • That's most Shin Megami games. Very few don't have that feature.

  • Actually, only the games after Persona 3 had this mechanic.

  • @Tyrt8 Yes, yes it is, and Mudo hits a LOT more then it did in any other game

  • :48-1:10 holy crap that's awesome. If I'm ever fighting for my life against unholy demon spawn I want this track bumping.

  • You know, I was really surprised to hear a fully orchestrated soundtrack when I looked this game up.

    I love my DS, XP.

  • An epic battle theme.

    Baritone Jack Frosts I hear?

HEE. HO. HEE HO HEE HO.

  • LoL Great image in my mind for the rest of the day tyvm.

  • @SebTheZer0 Now I keep seeing Jack Frosts singing this in my head. O_O

  • Yeah the choir of Jack Frosts and their Black Frost composer. Cannot un-see

  • @ SebTheZer0: Cannot unsee. Gonna be thinking of only singing Jack Frosts when I play this. XD

I've love to see that in action/on paper

  • @asukacrystalrose Orchestra of Jack Bros? :D

  • @SebTheZer0 I blame you for anything that's wrong lol

  • @SebTheZer0 Hey! Don't forget the Pyro Jacks!

  • @resievilfan And Black Frost conducting this whole performance for King Frost.

  • @SebTheZer0 It just gets more randomly epic every step of the way...

  • @SebTheZer0 I need to kill myself, an epic masterpiece ruined by mind poison.

  • So the themes have names now eh?

  • I am really looking forward to this game, i hope its better than devil survivor that game got crazy towards the end when you had to fight every boss all over again :p oh yeah and the soundtrack for this game is already much better than devil survivor kudos Meguro!

  • @KingpedobearXXX Well most SMT games are known for their difficulty, so I almost expect SMT: SJ to be pretty challenging.

  • @Barrylocke oh trust me it's pretty bitchin'

  • That's good to here.

  • @Barrylocke Then I might not get it, if the difficulty is going to be so damn brutal...I guess I can see WHY this series is not well known.

  • @MysticArksRevenge You haven't even tried it yet though :P Its not (usually) so brutal that you have to grind and grind and grind to get far. That's fake difficulty, like Dragon quest 1 on the nes. It just means that you do need to put some thought into what you're doing, and the game won't just hand you victory, you need to do some effort to earn it.

  • @Barrylocke Oh, OK.

  • there's like 6 different endings in the game!!

some harder than others O_O...anyway, Meguro is the best :D

  • Main Battle Theme! wow this sounds like a final Battle Theme.

  • Yeah pretty epic isn't it? SMT is back!

  • Definitely. Meguro really outdid himself on this soundtrack. Couldn't believe this was a regular battle theme!

  • When was it gone?
