The alternate ending wasn't as good IMO. I wish Rocky would have won too but the way they did it in there just wasn't as good as the way it turned out. Much more realistic this way too.

Ending to the movie was fine as it was. Rocky did not need to win, a little unbelievable for his age. Obvious who the crowd was there to see at the end.
