I recently bought a washer with same manufacture but the washer is a IWL16. It's a fantastic machine and saves water but I can't open the lid when it's doing it's work.! That's not cool and I have to press pause to open the lid which wastes time -_-''. But overall great machine :D
Far as I'm aware, there were three Intuitive Eco models on the U.S. market - IWL12, IWL15, and IWL16. The machines are identical in operation, difference in panel color, and a few mechanical changes on IWL16. IWL12 & 15 are Phase 6 machines, IWL16 is Phase 7. All have a lid lock, but there are ways around that. Intuitive Eco models are no longer available, haven't been listed on F&P's web site for several months, although could be a few dealers still have stock.
@speediee - The water level can be selected manually in which case it doesn't run the level sensing routine. However, the machine is engineered with these automatic features and that's one of the reasons I bought it, so I let it go along and do its thing.
An intelligent washing machine! Very cool!
