The credit card compies are still going to find loopholes to get around these new laws. They are already soliciting parents of college students to cosign on new accounts (which is perfectly legal). The cosigner is then responsible for the debt as long as the account is in service. On this part, the "cure" is worse than the disease. The only winning move in credit card roulette is not to play the game, ever!
