@Nineiseverything i agree with you. objectively, in terms of IU's and Taeyeon's voices I really think that there is something that Taeyeon has and IU does not have. I don't mean IU's singing skill is not good but there is just something missing. Sometimes I think IU's voice is a little bit husky, but she does have her singing skills. This is through her practice and effort. While Taeyeon's strong voice is inherent. When she sings it is way much stronger than IU's. anyway its just my own opinion.

When I first got into contact on SNSD, my first crush on one particular member was Tiffany.... but after watching more variety videos on SNSD, I had my love for Taeyeon already. She is just funny and talented. Her singing always captures my heart and most importantly her dorky personality. She puts feelings and has that singing skills in all of her ost songs.♥

No singer is perfect, everyone has some weakness. Even Taeyeon.
IU lacks something but has other strengths to cover for it.
My preference for Taeyeon has nothing to do with IU's lacking. I just love taeyeon's voice and singing.
I judge each singer on their own merits. Even if I don't compare them, IU is still lacking something which I think will make her a better singer.

so it's predictable that Sooyoung won't have too many male fans(i'm not bashing xd)

She doesn't have the best vocal range in k-pop, but she sings with so much emotion and conviction...it's like you're rooting for her every step of the way. One of my favourite voices to listen to.

One of Taeyeon best solo song.... her voice sound so good with this song, I still listening to this song everyday until now.............. just can't get enough of this song.... even thought I'm SO NOT SNSD fan but I've to say she's really a talent singer, best out of SNSD along with Jessica, Tiffany, Seohyun.... :)
