  • It's to bad he's not on the scene any more. He was fun to watch and a great martial artist.

  • @mally567 funny story a few years ago i was quebec open watching tv. and all of a sudden he pops up on some random csi type show.

  • Hot! One of my favorites!

  • hey guys, this is david douglas. i just wanted to let everyone know that we lost a good friend recently. i just got word that garry waugh past away last week. he was a friend and a team mate. if you want to offer condolences send them here.

  • Nice video. I don't think people realize that DD, Chat, Carmichael, Jimmy Pham, Valera and other guys that aren't on the circuit anymore are who changed NASKA and helped pioneer XMA

  • i train wit i guess what some might consider a second generation competitor after these guys. daniel sterling..so i know my history.

  • Yup, I have to agree with you. OMG you pulled out Carmichael Simon! Haven't heard that name in like 13 years!

  • wow that was a long time ago...lol.

  • is this the actual double d?

  • what with the hair

  • Yo, FFmaxx, how is David's acting career going. I trained with him a little back in 98 and I remember him being a cool guy. I hope he's doing well out there. If you know, post it up. Thanks.

  • not sure how well its going but i did see him on tv while i was at the quebec open...kinda ironic. It looked like a law and order type show.

  • YES! Great form! Ah man, I NEED this video! David Douglas is the man!

  • Why this guy doesn´t go to UFC? He´s a gay!

  • because he's gettin money in hollywood.

  • The man himself, David Douglas. All you high flyers - This is where ya got it from.

  • haha aiignt that the truth my man.

  • You mean he got it from Mike Chat. Alot of fun to watch. I wish people were more creative like him in respect to XMA. If you aren't going to do real MA then at least do it well. Props to David.

  • Gotta disagree. MUCH respect and props to Mike Chat, but he and David are different animals. David Douglas laid the groundwork for what has become modern forms competition, while Mike Chaturantubut pretty much maxed out more traditional style, combat oriented forms competition, with ultra - clean technique tho. Props to them both.
