praying salah in public acts like dawah. Believe it or not the decent non muslims are very intriged in islam when they see this. In Birmingham University we used to read jumaah on occasions in the summer out in the open centre of the university. The whole world is a masjid. Alhamdullillah.

This video just reminded me of the time the Prophet(pbuh) used to pray in the public and the oppressers at that time used to throw filth on him, even dung everytime he was in the middle of prayer, yet it did not detter him.

I mean, when it's time to Pray we Muslims should not feel embarassed, we should think about the Prophet(pbuh), the hardships he went through.

The sight of someone performing the salah is always pleasing to behold. It is fard (a mandatory duty) for a Muslim to pray 5 times a day. So whenever and wherever it's time for salah a Muslim  must pray there and then. If all Muslims did their duty and fulfilled their obligation to pray then the tiny minority of Muslims who pray regularly would not need to be apologetic about praying in front of non-Muslims at work or elsewhere; and this would be a normal sight in many cities in the UK.
