@devlin0497 because he was under different circumstances in wcw than in ecw. in wcw nobody from the office cared about jericho. he needed to be creative to get noticed by the wcw viewers. in ecw he could appear more serious, because heyman was a supporter of him. i really don't think that you can compare the wcw and the ecw lionheart.

The -best- Jericho was WCW Chris Jericho. Athletic, able, awesome on the mic (ARMBAR!), and still used the Liontamer (compared to the disappointing Walls of Jericho). The only problem he had then was that WCW was never going to give him the push he should have had.

Back then, he even took down Goldberg TWICE in legitimate shoots.

And no, Taker was fantastic in both those matches, plus a number of other not-as-good matches. Sting has been out of it for a while, largely thanks to TNA management, and of course the man is in his 50s.
