That warping sound snuck up on my ears while they were walking to their car and the warping sound grabbed them from behind, threw my ears to the ground and had it's way with them. It was horrific. i never actively started to use my account for subscriptions until very recently. it's not even because i'm not technologically savvy, i just never saw the point in having to log in until i began using youtube more often. the people who get an account once and never go back to it usually just aren't nerdy enough to care about nine million features and options they can use. they just want to watch clips of puppies.

I was thinking the same thing as you. Not everyone is as fortunate to have a million subscribers, and many just like watching videos. This Ghost Account topic is trivial and pointless to me; you can't track the person making them and if someone wants to be a loser and make thousands of accounts to raise their numbers why do I care? If I watch their videos and they're crap, then the work/talent will speak for itself and I won't watch it and no one else will.

Actually everyone starts out that way, but if you are going to be criticizing people like he does you need to clean house too. Some users sub to tons of people JUST to get subscribers back. It's kind of lame if that is the reason you do it.

I dont know enough about him to say if he does it for that reason or not, but does CR have any proof thats the reason he does it? If not then the point holds no water. I sub to channels I like and if I end up with more than the subscribers I have then who really gives a damn?

The LisaNova thing was funny... :P I guess there are two different kinds of Ghost Accounts, though. Those like the ones you mentioned, and the other ones apparently made by the people they are subscribed to.

Lisa Nova 25% of suscribres are ghost accounts.

i never actively started to use my account for subscriptions until very recently. it's not even because i'm not technologically savvy, i just never saw the point in having to log in until i began using youtube more often. the people who get an account once and never go back to it usually just aren't nerdy enough to care about nine million features and options they can use. they just want to watch clips of puppies.

You'll get the tech issues figured out eventually, that last bit on nova was pretty funny. I gotta say though, I've got more subscriptions than subscribers...that's partially your fault though you bastard!! You pointed out some good channels, and there simply hasen't been enough people to recognize my brilliance...yet..hahahha! look forward to more vids from you man..take it easy...

Yes, good response, but you should have stressed the fact that MANY of us have these so called GHOST ACCOUNTS and the difference between GHOSTS and SOCKS. Some people are obviously confused.

i don't get why youtube doesn't make subscriber counts more dynamic. remove subscriptions from deleted/banned accounts and accounts that are inactive for 3 months. would make the most subscribed accurate at least.
