i heard the meek sped this up in the studio. this is monumental punk/beat/garage at its most naughtiest,. the meek shall inherit the .............................ps i dare y'all to play the single of this at 33 rpm. its like falling off a mountain in treacle.
The Honeycombs are still recording and touring. They made an album with original member Martin Murray in 2007 titled "HONEYCOMBS INTO the 21st CENTURY" It contains very good re-recordings from their PYE era. I believe that Martin has since left & formed the "ORIGINAL HONEYCOMBS". There is no involvement from any of the original 60s combo. There is a bootleg CD in circulation of the joe meek ''TEA-CHEST TAPES'', well worth a listen !
I have done comments to almost every Honeycombs song, I have since -64 2 LPs and 7 singles, they are one of best band ever. Some of them did recordings to the Tornados when they there abroad, the Joe Meek team!!!!

I believe that Honeycombs are still recording. They were signed to the RRO label a year or 2 ago.
