Fascinating. Is it typical for snakes to only favor one gender of mice? You said your cobra only likes to eat the males. I live in east Texas where we always have black snakes trying to get to the birds nests in my brick columns. I know they aren't venemous, but what's the best way to take a relocate one? Wow, dude, I can tell you really love what you do. Has this transcended being just a hobby? Do you harvest venom for medical research, etc.?

I had a couple of copperheads a few years back but unfortunately I live in Missouri and it's illegal to possess them without a special permit. Besides that, I moved my girlfriend into my house and she had two children so I ended up letting my little friends go. It was a fascinating experience though.
