The animals that are simply let into the wild almost all come from furrier farms. The animals that are tested on for research (mostly cosmetics) are sent to "rehab" & then to homes.
More importantly, most scientists now agree that testing on animals is NOT the most efficient or effective way of finding useful evidence.
