  • damn man, you just reconvinced my of how power these PIC can be. i saw that you wrote your pong in python. how did you communicate with the PIC as last i heard there isnt any python interpreter for the microcontrollers. nice project by the way. source code could come in handy!

  • Wow Awesome! I've some questions:

-In Pong, the pic sends the coordinates of the paddles and the ball and the pc draws them or the pc acts only as a framebuffer and the pic has to draw each pixel separately? (i think the first; silly question ;)

-In the car mode, the pc recognises the pic as a normal joystick or you mapped the potentiometers move as keypresses?

And I like your massive prototype board!! :D

  • xD It's a university project... ;)

The objective isn't PLAY pong, the objective is to make an interface to control the computer through a PIC and some other stuff.

  • The amount of skill this must have taken seems to have gone totally to waste with this project. You should find something useful to do with your skills. Wow, I can play an ancient game on my laptop that took hours to make work. Go buy an atari for a dollar at the flea market.

  • well he actually tested his abillities and knowledge with this project so it wasn't a waste of time.

I'm sure he learned a lot of new things from this project.
