  • @spxder I'd buy one

  • ill take mine in green please

  • Imagine flying to school with this. :D

  • @CaptainKorhonen And while flying the rotorblades cut the amazed spectators heads off xDDD

  • could you use a large RC engine for this?

  • What is the Horsepower of the engine?

  • Yeah, that looks really safe.

  • uh-oh! gas tank's just few inches from his face! good luck! :D

  • Doesnt look safe... but oh well LOL

  • Few centimeters cubic is the engine? and Helix as it is? know you? It is interesting for its ease to be built at home by yourself

  • walking on the moon simulator lol

  • seen better

  • ...congratulations....!!!!!!!

  • It appears that it will only fly within ground effect. Will more horsepower provide for higher flight?

  • How many pounds if thrust does that produce and where can i get an engine and a propelor like that

  • Needs a stronger engine to gain more lift but aside from that it's a great concept.

  • yo dude, you definately need a housing around that propeller to increase lift, check out the mythbusters personal flying machine, its a great example, you could fly fo sho with that housing.

    booyah

  • Canc it go any higher and if so how much is it for one of these

  • Launchpad McQuack to the rescue!

This is also known as the stay out of my personal bubble device...

  • @artofnick lmao

  • Launchpad McQuack to the rescue!

  • he has no control over where he goes and it's more than likely he will cut his own head off at some stage. there is a reason why no one has built something like this before - it's a crap idea

  • @Dorkdufus actually this kind of thing was built before... mostly in germany and usa in after ww1 ;)

Btw it's not a crap idea at all, you have the same opinion than fuckerz of 19th century that were laughing at people trying to built planes... haha you're a next-gen obscurantist.

Without guys like this, nothing would be invented anymore. Genius-weirdos are def cool.

  • That looks safe.

  • Look! A portable decapitation machine.

  • Nice skull crasher.

  • BUT IT DOESEN'T FLY!!

  • let's play basketball using this..

  • no dangerous at all!

  • My dreams have come true.

  • Now we can ROFLCOPTER!!

  • if a strong gust of wind ever catches that, he's chopped liver

  • Bad ass ! Can"t you make it a little bit taller so you can wave to the croud. I would have forgot and chopped my hand and or head off ! OOPs!

  • have you tired forward flight for the transitional lift ?

  • Du nu nu nu nu

    Inspector gadget

du nu nu nu nu NU-NU(whoo hoo)

    du nu nu nu nu

    inspector gadget.

  • please send me your blue prints

  • What ever you do don't wave to the crowd, mate.

  • wow lol jumping on the MOON :P

  • thats awesome. until u lose control and the prop cuts your head off.

  • nao subiu porque tava pesado o pilpto tava gordo demais???????

  • forgot to say the engine is 125cc 40HP!!!

  • i am gona try to build one of these out of carbon fiber and use an electric motor and Li-on batt's.

  • hey guys, i think the blades are paramotor blades, the coaxial gearbox is simple to make, use a fixed shaft and four bevile gears, the engine is a liquid cooled rotax aero engine not a kart engine, same make different engine!!!

  • that some crazy shit.

  • How does he control it, by clenching up his butt cheeks? Pretty neat

  • just like a hang glider

  • how strong engine is there? how many HP, RPM?

  • the engine is a rotax go kart motor, very high performance, about 29 bhp, it works out about a 1lb per horse power, and the counter rotating unit has been made up from differential spider gears. this thing isnt as simple as it looks.

  • If someone can tell me what kind of engine to use and where to get the counter rotating blades at, I will build a few with a safety cage around the blades and a reserve parachute along with a larger fuel capacity for extended flight. I promise to sell them AT AN AFFORDABLE PRICE after they are certified. Let me know, I'd like to jump start the future!

  • @Spxder if you can`t work out for yourself what engine to use, then you have got no chance of building one of these.the problems that you would have to overcome would be massive in comparison to engine choice.

  • @Spxder did you ever find that stuff out ? I would like to build one for myself.

  • @Spxder so u think u can do this yet u have no idea what to use....you talk rubbish

  • @Spxder they dnt need to be certified. as long as it is under 190 lbs it doesnt require a liscence to fly it so i would assume it wldnt need to be certified.

  • is it possible?

  • A handy tool in the autumn, if you have a garden full of leaves.. :)

  • Are there any blueprints/plans for this? What size engine does it have?

  • This idiot should wear a helmet, or if he fancies getting beheaded

  • hahahah nice one. he does !

  • stupid shit

  • how do u steer it?

  • @boobyguy200

by changing balance (weight his body sideways) can"t yaw what so ever

  • Can ivoluir and become a real flying machine!

  • what a peice of fun . fantastic . dont let the hoople-heads get you down . just buzzz around and hav'a laugh . hahaha lol

  • for thoses who don"t know aerodinamics

this beautifull piece of art can"t autorotate

which means can"t sustaint it self once the engine quit

  • I'm pretty sure that autorotation isn't an issue since it also doesn't look like it can leave ground effect.

  • @bri3d

try an bigger engine and see this blender reach a thousand feet, once engine quit

well meet this guy in hell

  • I can leap any tall building Now, next I'd like to move faster than a speeding bullet, please :)

  • I'll take one too please..

I to am an extremist and not a chicken ass like the guy below me.

    Damn that looks like fun..

  • That's what you want... a meat shredder one foot above your head.

  • buy a trampoline and you can go higher

  • people who ride things like this ain't be scared by death...

  • I have to say that I would seriously consider having one of these over the current jetpacks that have been built.

  • Absolutely , much cheaper to run , you can see his fuel tank on the side , it didn't really drop. Jets run out in a few mins.

  • Fat man. LOL

  • Nut is out of his mind!

  • Take your clothes and shoes off so you can get more altitude by shedding the weight.

Fly around all day, mix drinks at night.

  • would be nice if you could fit the weight of some kind of a cage around the blades, otherwise i wouldnt fly that

  • got that right

  • where do i get one and how much?

  • You can't get them yet, but when they are put into production... about $150,000 a piece.

  • Exelente !

  • i want it!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Looks more stable than the Martin Jetpack.

  • Nice,Lets see some altitude now.

  • what if fuel runs out?

  • You fall to the ground... a whooping 2 1/2 feet

  • That is simply the most amazing sight I have seen all week!

    Splended machine sir!

    I salute your creativity.

That could very definatly have a commercial or military value.

Mountain rescue workers could use that to get to injured climbers and such

    Splended!

    5/5!

  • @ARMOROID5000 Best YouTube comment ever!

  • @ARMOROID5000 its too light for rescue work, helicopters atleast have a large momentum helping them during wind gusts etc in the mountains.

  • @ARMOROID5000 providing the mountain was under 4 feet high

  • bro please destroy that thing, your going to lose your bloody knicker. or worse poke an eye out.

  • AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!

  • So primitive and dangerous...

Compared to Alien Technology that is...

  • Damn, how NOT to attract ladies! I don't think my insurance would cover an accident with this little devil... Looks funny though!

  • ahem... AWW HELL NO, NO WAY!

  • wouldnt jump too hard, blade strike would be bad at that range of 6 inches. Sir you have balls, and a grand desire to fly....

  • Looks like someone needs to loose some weight

  • OMG...he was that flying witch from some paranormal video... xD im sure 100% the witch from distance looked like him, in same sitting pose... O_o (need 2 find that vide)

  • here come's "no more trafic " times...

  • that is fuking kick ass im makin one let u now how it goes

  • Would you just look at all the criticisers! Listen to yourselves. Go out and have some fun.

  • What a retard, let me put my head right near this spinning blade and 2 gallon bottle of jet fuel! I am a genius!

  • thats fucking awesome man

    i want to have one

  • Not only senseless and pointless, dangerous as well.

  • its a fixed pitched counter rotating blade. the same you find on cheap toy helicopters. it realy needs a full collective set up for true flight

  • I don't know why I kept thinking of this as a toilet, lol...awesome if it's real though...

  • doesnt look like his engine is powerful enough to lift him beyond ground effect... rather pointless

  • it doesn't seem to be quite powerful enough to really let him fly

  • Ladies, not a matter of if..... when!

  • can you tell me what size engine that is?

  • This guy really needs to make a video cliff diving with this thing. That would be rad.

  • I can see where this is going...

filleted body at 300 feet...spraying a small wooded area

  • Lol. shredded human.

  • yeeaaah

  • I want one so bad!!! haha

    but this looks bloody dangerous

it's like your risking your life every time you take it for a spin

  • this reminds me of the guys who used to jump from rocks wearing paper wings....and FAILED just like this guy!!

  • thats one small step for man...

  • LMAO

  • Oh wait it has one

  • Needs a more powerful engine.

    And maybe a seat.

  • LOL what a retard!

  • Go go gadget copter! I especially like the gas can right next to the face.

  • @ArcAnge1M LOL yeah thats a great place for it

  • Cool where can i get ONE>!!!>!>! thats ILL!

  • Haha! So awesome! So dangerous!

  • um... yeah... Phil? I think I'm going to be late for work again...

  • KANGURUCOPTER !!!

  • That is trippy!

  • No gravity!

  • lose some weight buddy or your copter aint goin' nowhere

  • lol @ him

  • I think this inventor was origianlly working on a faster, cheaper, do it yourself hair cutter. Those innovative inventors. Silly rabbit trix are for kids!

  • hmmm soemthing is strange here the hiller platform was also stable but both of them are the complete oposite and they are almost as stable.. the c.g seems to be not so important .. the kinetic controll is maybe the vital part ?

  • death trap.

  • head-cut-opter

  • wow this made my night... hahaha...

this is really funny.. almost as funny as you tube letting me hear my comment in a computerized voice..!! hahahaa

  • i wonder what would happen if he tipped it sideways?

  • Wow, that is neat. did you invent it?

  • may i ask if it is still in testing or selling maby or is it very expensive? sorry for taking everyones time that read this i'll be going not and good luck to everyone!

  • HAHA, he is definitely too heavy!

  • jajajaja que mamadera de gallo es esa quien lo diseño si bajaras de peso seguro volaras mas

  • hmmm... if i strap a motor to my head, i can bounce around a bit, up and down in field, and hope the motor doesn't stop and crush my spine when i land. sign me up!!!

  • no good - needs much more power!

  • or the pilot needs to lose some pounds :P

  • he is actually on diet now

  • Re tomandharry<control,if you spin one motor faster than the other torque effect would have to be taken into account then a tail rotor would be needed ,a tail boom for that a frame to support that etc ,hey we just reinvented the helicopter !

if you look i think you will find it is a single motor with vertical crank and a series of gears to give contra rotating rotors which counters the torque effect. Control is via power, lift, and weight shift for direction,as in a microlight.

    Nice helo tho.

  • looks like walking on the moon

  • suddenly how those moon walk videos claimed to be false was done appears lol

  • I want one. If the rotors were a bit longer, the extra lift generated would make it a lot more useable.

  • That is super cool, if you could get controls to turn it (spin one motor faster than the otherher) then that would be sweet. If you get that helicopter working better, you could make a ton of money out of that.

  • you need to use a jokey for this demo, get your fat butt out ! lol

  • Can I buy it? Where and doesn't matter how much?

  • Where is the engine? :D

  • those blades seem low.. they need to be lower because if he lands someone could lose a head...

  • useless

  • ahmed- useless? usoclueless! but- then- languages/speech, the wheel, ~electricity were all useless at one point...

  • its currently useless...

  • 10% more power or less weight and he'd be off, I think.

  • Nice piece of kit. Something like this has to happen at some stage because road congestion is becoming intolerable worldwide. Taking to the air is the obvious alternative. Roll on the day a safe and cheap version is made available, which I'm sure it will be within 5 years.

  • Very nice! Ich wünsche ein. Wie viel?

  • The "Personal Helicopter" is a device with a small engine, you do not have 8 cylinders as the GEN-H4, and this close to fly with less money and perhaps, the same performance. Must be given more time, and remember that the prototypes are not always perfect in the first tests.

I think the taunts and comments ridiculous, are from people who don't know how to start and keep going with a project.

I'm sorry because of my english's mistakes.

  • There are times that ingenuity is underestimated, by ignorance. obviously the inventor must adjust many details, such as a surge protector propeller, as used in the paramotors, anyway the propeller have a clutch, while this is on the floor. You may have to design a silencer for the exhaust, and fuel tank in other place. I think that succeeded more than the inventor of the GEN-H4.

  • Do you realize how FUN this would be!

  • and the point of it is?????

  • Cool, fly a helicopter and get a haircut at the same time,,,,

  • didnt the foot soldiers fly these in turtles in time?

  • why won't they show how far it rides , they only show bouncing 4 or 5 feet up , thats it

  • 'off the ground' means 'off the ground' ...5ft or 50ft....

  • This is pretty neat....where can I buy one at my local Wal-Mart? I was in the store looking for it, but I couldnt find it. What section of Wal-Mart carries these kits, y'all?

  • I guess in concept it looks OK, but this demo looks pathetic, him bouncing around like he is on a glorified pogo stick.

Actually, he looks scared as hell. The engine noise must have been deafening, the fuel tank by his face and giant rotor blades that can easily chop his or bystanders limbs and head off.

This seems like one of those things that the old saying applies, just because you can [build it] does not mean you should.

  • that man is too fat to fly.. haha

  • cool. it looks like a great idea. but very dangerous. maybe a helium rubber chamber filled cockpit will make it light enough to fly?

  • It seems to have as much power as a swisher swirler flushing piss or about as much as a backed up blocked off kohler commode straining to flush a turd.Needs a lot of work

  • Where can i find more info about this 'thingy'? dangerous? yes definately, BUT an excellent starting point. INFO PLEASE!!!

  • It would be more impressive if he was on a pogo stick!

  • Go take a dump....and I think it will carry you off ;)

  • Woah! One false move and those blades could take of your noggin!

  • Pretty small fuel tank on that thing....what's the total flight time....30 seconds? Maybe enough hover to get you across a small puddle of water. Very cool gadget, but not very practical.

  • more angle of atack needed the engines not even working

  • Isn't that Doraemon's hatcopter? XD
