i have both a xbox 360 and ps3.

PS3 is better for music, movies and better features. and it has alot less system malfunctions than an xbox 360.

but an xbox 360 is built perfectly for online gaming. better graphics on ps3 though. better online play on xbox 360. xbox 360 = bigger defence mechanisms for online play.

ps3 = an absolute shit box defence

Sony isn't covering it up. In their first update on their site they confessed they had been hacked. Maybe they didn't include who was hacking them or the age group of the offenders or why, but they were still up front about the hacking. And technically, the PSN is under maintenance as they clean up all the hackers "residue" they left behind. As in open channels and broken firewalls. They have to do a complete reboot and most likely strengthen their security so it won't happen again.
