It would be nice if Clinton acknowledged the mathematical impossibility of her position. It would be even nicer to see her aggressively working to repair the schisms that have been opened in the Democratic party. Her supporters will mirror her reaction. I will just say this. Obama has shown intellectual curiosity and the ability to gather the best people and to listen to their advice and turn it into successful policy and strategy. He's been a successful leader in his campaign and on policy he's almost always right and influences public opinion. On gas tax, GI bill, Iraq, diplomacy he has McCain beat. Obama counts former Fed chairman Volcker among his advisers and he has been endorsed by 3 SEC chairmen and 2 Noble Prize winners in economics.
