I was PISSED with my breeder for feeding my pup Beneful! I switched her to Wellness and now she looks Fantastic. Then I saw this video and wanted to do this, but I am terrified of the toddlers in our house getting sick from exposure the salmonella and other bacterias.

chiken bones are not good for dogs becasue if they swallow them they can puke or rip their stomach!

heartbassets3, I agree with what you have to say. I also feed my 5lb chihuahua raw. Please don't get upset over people who will never change or hear what you have to say. I have met so many people who have objected to the way I feed my pets, they all think I am in some way being cruel to animals because I feed them raw. But they can't deny the fact that my dog is fit and healthy. The underlying truth is there no matter how they try to twist it.

I feed my chihuahueño with raw food too. She have mora of 7 years and is more healthy for any dog who eat "pet food". If the raw food is so bad, wolves and other carnivores would not have to be dead already? We have just look the teeth of our dogs....that indicates what he needs to eat

Why would it give them worms? Worms do not come from raw meat. Raw is the absolute best thing you can feed you dogs. I have been feeding mine raw for about 2 months and they are thriving... and guess what? NO WORMS!

Have you even read the ingredient list? Here is a portion of it. You are basically feeding your dog ground corn and unknown parts of a chicken. Please look into a healthier kibble. One without corn and animal by-products.

Beneful? that's the worse dog food you can give to your dog!, your dog is a carnivore, not a COW. If the raw food have worms (that's stupid to think), all carnivores would have to be dead wolfs, dingos, cats, etc, etc. I feed my dogs with worms, ups, sorry, raw meat, and they are very healthy, more than any other dog than feeds with "cow food". Your dog is a carnivore, not a humane or a rabbit, please reads something of the digestive anatomy of the carnivore.

already you are killing your dog with that food, but slowly, is stupid to think that a carnivore can be healthy with a food that more of the 60% are carbohydrates. just look the ingredientes. With common sense, you can know that, is not appropiate for a DOG. That food have just cereals, grain and low quality protein. inclusive a pet food named "orijen" is better than beneful, but not for a natural food. Read the info that the web page of orijen has.

I have to agree with you. Beneful is one of the worst food you can feed your carnivore friends. It is filled with preservatives, dyes, fillers, nasty animal by products and so many other junk that I would never ever think about feeding it to myself or my kids so it just make sense this is not something I would feed to my pets, because I consider them my children.

@TheGameBreedPit I wouldn't make conclusions that aren't supported in any research what so ever. All my animals for over 20 years have been fed raw &/or home cooked meals (mostly raw). I have 3 dogs now. One is 18 and perfectly thriving. The other has been paraplegic for 7 years (from a dog attack) and has NONE of the problems most paraplegics suffer from (UTIs, Kidney problems, etc). The third has never been to the vet and is 7. All have perfect teeth and coats. Dogs are carnivores. Sorry.
